2: India Rivers Ganges and Indus | Indus River is the source of one of the largest irrigation systems in the world. It is where the Indian settlers came from. It is also where India got its name. Indus = India | Ganges River is the greatest waterway in India and one of the longest in the world. Hindus consider it the most sacred river in India with purifying properties.
