1: October 15, 2010 Portland Int'l to Amsterdam to Milan, Italy | Feeding the pigeons in Piazza del Scala | The Adventure Begins... | First Night in Italy... eating Mexican food!!! | Teatro alla Scala World Famous,1778

2: Fashion Capitol of the World!!! | Milan... | Duomo, de Milano, 2nd largest church in Italy... Galleria Vittorio Emanuelo & via Montenapoleone home of the most expensive shopping in Italy hosting all the world famous designers & several McDonalds, of course!!! "Milano" is also famous because it is the home of Leonardo da Vinci's renowned "Last Supper"... | The ladybug is Italy's good luck charm! | "Needle, Thread & Knot" a monument gifted by renowned sculpter Cardana, highlighting Milano's fashion status | Home to 3,400 statues!!!

3: Taking up the ENTIRE 6 passenger FIRST class train compartment!!! | YES!!! of course Mom bought several items here!!!! | ahhhhhhhhhhhhh something is Missing?!?!

4: Bellagio... | The Pearl of Lake Como | Stepped alleyways & specialty handmade items of the finest silk, produced in Lake Como | Breathe taking views... Narrow cobblestone streets... World class boutique shopping...

5: Lake Como | Size 4x !!!

6: It has been said the best way to explore Venice is to "Get Lost" & we certainly did that!!! | The Royal Italian Military | V e n i c e

7: Shopping, Shopping & More Shopping!!! | Angel: "What do you think all these risers are for???" Mom: "Oh for the street vendors to sell from" Angel: "A thousand stores & they need these in addition???" Mom: "Oh Yes!!! definately!!!" ... 8 hrs later... Angel: "No More Shopping... I am Done!!! | So Mom, what were those risers really for??

9: Tucked between Switzerland & Austria is the 4th smallest country in the World... it is only 16 miles long & 4 miles wide, over which half is covered by the majestic Swiss Alps, reaching as high as 8,000 feet. The Rhine River meanders through the lower valleys, making the land fertile for all kinds of farming, like wheat, barley & dairy. This tiny Principality has only 35,000 citizens but is home to more than 79,000 registered businesses, making it the richest per capita country in the entire world!!! This "Jewel of the Alps" is Mom's "official" fav country !!!! | Gutenberg Castle

13: Lunch at Fattoria Poggio Alloro... a Tuscan Estate that includes a dairy, a winery & olive groves. Trattoria serves only their produced products! | "Olio" Trees in a Grove in San Gimignano

14: A Gelato Shop | We sure visited a Lot of these! | Pisa, Cortona, Sienna & Montepulciano

15: The City of Cortona | "Sampling" the goods at the oldest wine cellar in Montepulciano

16: The David by Michelangelo Galleria dell 'Accademia, Florence | Amazing

17: The Ponte Vecchio "Firenze" , Italy | The Pantheon Roma, Italy | Houses the tombs of the Italian Royal Family & Rulers, this is the Tomb of the First King of Italy | The Vatican | The smallest country in the world, it is home to the world's largest museum If you spent 1 minute at each item for 365 days, it would take 120 yrs to see everything! Also home to the World's Largest Basilica, St. Peter's, which is 610 ft long, 390 ft tall & 18,000 sq yds inside., Home to the Pope and 558 citizens in 122 acres.

20: P O m P E I I | The Temple of Jupiter | In the largest piazza, was the center of the City's civic, religious & economic life. This temple was the largest sacred building in the City.

21: On August 24, 79 AD, Mt. Vesuvius erupted, covering the entire city of Pompeii & its 30,000 residents. The ashes that destroyed the city also preserved it perfectly! Ruins include homes, markets & streets in near perfect condition, allowing you to walk among the streets & visit the different rooms of the homes. Artifacts include pottery, artwork & even human skeletons. | A dining room table in the middle of a kitchen | Vibrant artwork painted on the walls of a living room | Human remains
