44: Korcula, Croatia October 6-7 Watched a full moon rise from the ferry on the way to the island. Had a walk around the next morning. Geoff bought me the most beautiful pair of amber & silver earrings.

45: Dubrovnik, Croatia October 7-10 Rode in on the Jadrolinija Found accommodations on the sea front in Old Town Walked around city walls built in 13th-16th centuries; over 2km long & 25m high with 2 towers, 14 square towers, 2 corner fortifications, & a large fortress

46: Dubrovnik Continued... Franciscan Monastery & memorial to defenders of Dubrovnik. Trying to stand on the "lucky" stone and photo ops ("show me honey") in the night lit streets. Visited jazz club Trubadour and a couple of other local spots. Bought hand crafted beanies here too!

53: October 15 Rented scooters & headed out to Super Paradise Beach. 1st place "Blue" died. | Visited windmills up on hill & "Blue" finally died for good. :(

54: October 16-18 Thessoliniki, Greece Visited cozy bars along the river & the White Tower: Thessoliniki's claim to fame, but it's not white. It was whitewashed after independence as a symbolic gesture.
