FC: GATLINBURG | Tennessee - November 2013
We had a huge two bedroom condo at the Gatlinburg Town Square Resort | It was great having a place where we had a full kitchen where Steve could cook a few meals, especially after a day of hiking. The boys liked sharing a room together. It had a nice big TV and the beds were fun to slide off of. | Caleb cried when we left the resort because he loved the fireplace so much.
Caleb said the ride was fast and fun!
Noah said the best part was that he could ride the car on the track by himself now.
The fall in Gatlinburg was amazing!
Fun Days | Ripley's Aquarium, Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Wonderworks and Mini Golf
Noah said it "tickled" and and Caleb said it was "spiky". | The Rock climbing was fun. We went to the top & rang the bell. Noah said his feet were shaking (because it was scary), but he still went about half way up the wall! Caleb played astronaut. | The boys liked making the Big Bubbles!
This was a huge maze where Noah completed every single course. It went about 30' high and you had to wear a harness. Steve was behind Noah but Noah went all the way to the top by himself!
 Caleb, Noah, Christie & Steve
We LOVED the trails! | We were so excited to finally get to the falls but during our picture taking, Caleb ended up with wet feet after slipping on the rocks (boy was the water cold)! The bridges that we used to cross over the streams were only about 14" wide.
The boys were SO happy to see snow! The hollowed out tree stumps were so cool! We wanted to take the tree home for our Christmas tree. It was so pretty! | Let it Snow...
Lifting up this tree was harder than the boys thought. I think they are watching too many Superhero movies! We hiked almost six miles in the snow. It was SO cold!!!
Noah holding his brothers' hands on the snowy trail. | Noah said it was the best trip ever! | Caleb strikes his "Superhero" pose for the picture.
The llamas made noises that sounded like they were singing. The guide said that after their long trip up the mountain, delivering supplies to the cabins, that the llamas were ready to go home and that's how they let you know. | Steve gave up his dry socks and a jacket to Caleb (to keep him warm) as we took turns carrying him down the hill. | We all had cold feet but had a great time in the snow!
Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway | The tram takes you high above Mt. Harrison to an elevation of 2700 feet and reaches a top speed of 23 mph traveling a distance of 2.1 miles. | We saw the Barbie Dream House replica from the tram. | In the Great Smoky Mountains
The Scenic Chairlift is the south's longest chairlift and the total ride lasted about 30 minutes.
Steve & the boys on the Alpine Slide getting ready to go down the mountain. Everybody got to control their own speed as we went down the mountain together. Mommy rode with Caleb. Then the boys rode the kids rides and played golf in the snow.
We all had SO much fun! Noah took the picture of Mommy & Daddy. The day ended with a beautiful sunset.
We tried 12 different shots of moonshine... and the blackberry was the best. It was nice getting to walk to all the shops that were all right by our resort. Noah and Caleb had fun riding the carousel and playing games. | It Was...
A Great Family Adventure! | We got to stop and have lunch with Grammy & Grampy on our way home to Orlando. They were only 5 minutes off the highway in Marietta, Georgia. They are Noah and Caleb's Great Grandparents.
