We spent today at the Spa for our Anniversary. After our body wraps and massages they had us wear sexy paper undies. Mike's were about 2 sizes too small, along with his robe. But he wore them like a champ! | ~Renova Spa~
LAST MAN STANDING | Deep Sea Fishing? More like Deep Sea YACKING! We were so excited to get out here and catch some huge fish. 10 minutes into the trip Tasha is hanging over the side. Not long after that Mike had to lay down. Shandee made it about 3 hours and then she joined Tasha. Jeremiah was the only one who survived. Needless to say, we didn't catch a thing and we ended the trip early.
DeepSea Fishing was not a success... We had no bites, no fish and 3 sick people on board. Jer was the last man standing!
After our fishing trip, we relaxed here for a couple of hours, got ice cream and watched Dolphins being trained. We were the only ones here, Loved it!

The central “heart” of XPLOR — literally, a giant mosaic heart. All of the activities can be accessed from this central spot, which is easy to find, as the closer you get to it, the more you will hear a loud beating noise, just like a thumping heart.

Paddle Boats | Paddling 600 yards through a Cenote
This was such an adventure swimming 1,300 feet through a Cenote with Stalagmites and Stalactites surrounding us. It was extremely dark and quiet. A little nerve racking, but so amazing! This journey culminated with us having to swim through a waterfall (“Hold your nose!”) into a circular area where water was cascading from all sides. Once we entered, the noise inside was deafening, but the sensation of being surrounded by pounding water was unreal.
Driving "amphibious vehicles" 3 miles through the jungle, through narrow rock caves with moving water and on suspension bridges over the water.
We climbed a steep, spiraling stone building, where the line diverged, and we chose the “Jaguar” circuit first. It had longer zip-lines, taller towers, two hanging bridges and one zip-line that goes through a waterfall. Next we did the “Deer" Circuit which had shorter zips and shorter towers, but included a waterslide, and 2 water landings. We rode zip-lines as high as 174 feet in the air, and totaled about 2 miles of wire! | Going Airborne over the Jungle on Zip-Lines at Xplor via suspended bridges and a water slide

We chose to eat at this little place because they told us they had air conditioning. So we sit down, and they hang a fan up over us and point it down at our table. Then the waiter gave Shandee a heart attack when he pretended to drop her camera after taking a picture for us. We had some good laughs and the food and drinks were amazing!
After dinner Jer decided it was time for bed (he had pulled an all-nighter the night before) so he went up to his room while Mike, Shandee and Tasha stayed and enjoyed the night show. After that we still weren't ready to call it a night so we decided we would hang out poolside. Mike fell asleep after about 10 minutes on his pool chair. Shandee and Tasha did what they do best and chatted for who knows how long... We preferred some night swimming, but that wasn't an option since the last time they kicked us out of the pool.
On a stroll to 5th Ave
 Dinner On The Beach
We were so excited to eat dinner on the beach and had thought that we had found the perfect little place. That changed very quickly! Our drinks were horrible, and the food was even worse. We ordered nachos and got about 5 chips completely drenched in runny cheese, along with a $90.00 bill. But we did get to see a drug bust on the beach while we were eating, so at least there was some fun entertainment :)
After our attempt to have a nice dinner on the beach, we headed back to Riu Palace to eat at the buffet because we were still starving.
 BIRDS ON 5TH
PARROTS | TOUCANS | The Toucan peed on Shandee's foot.
