2: We started by going to Fez, the religious capital of Morocco. We stayed at a house in the medina, which is the world's second oldest medina after the one in Cairo, Egypt. It was fascinating to see the different shops and stalls within the medina walls!
6: We took a day to go to Volubulis, the site of Morocco's largest Roman ruins!

22: Courtney's roommates, Crystal and Jenni, came back around New Year's, and the girls had a belated Christmas gift exchange. | "This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
23: Dear Mom, Thank you, and Dad of course, for another wonderful, memory-filled overseas vacation. I am blessed to have spent this time with my mother and my daughter together. I love you. Linda | Dear Grandma, I am so glad you were able to come over and see my life here! Now you can picture me running my errands, working in my classroom, and spending time with my friends.
