The population was 7,102 at the 2010 census, although during summer weekends the city hosts between 320,000 and 345,000 vacationers, and up to 8 million visitors annually. During the summer, Ocean City becomes Maryland's second most populated town.
4: The Travel Channel calls Ocean City’s classic wooden boardwalk one of America's best. USA Today named it one of the nation's "Top 10 Great Boardwalks." It is a place of entertainment with a ferris wheel, roller coasters, and a carousel from 1902. There are also many famous places you should get food at. Fisher’s Popcorn, Thrasher’s French, Fries, Love’s Funnel Cakes, and Wockenfuss fudge.
