FC: My Outdoor Ed Experience

Everybody cheers with glee as they run towards the play ground past the cabins and the gazebo. Outdoor Ed is a must have experience up in the mountains. I was anxious about many things such as who my roommates would end up being. I also worried about if the food was going to be good. I Really expected that everything was going to be loads of fun. Summit School was the most fun I've had in years. I did end up liking my roommates. I liked ‘em because, they were some of my best friends. I also enjoyed the amazing food that Dave cooked for me and my friends. There are 3 main components to why I liked this trip: the epic zip line, the fun activities, and the hike.

There was a enormous platform that only the people who were taking their turn could stand on.

One of the activities while we waited for the time to switch to different classes, was a game called GaGa. This was very popular with everyone.

During the Hike, We learned about how the Earth formed. We saw a giant rock that was split in half while we were walking.

The zip line was the most memorable thing from the trip. Although I had no fears related to this class, it was still nice to watch others conquer their fears. I also liked to watch everybody cheering each other on like, "Go Georgy,! You can do it." Plus it was really fun to take a 900 ft ride. I think it was really nice of Andrew R. to say that I did the coolest thing ever. Although I enjoyed this activity, the others were just as fun as this one.

Mrs. Klancick, was the first person onto the zip line.

During this class, the teachers stood on the platform while they taught, and everybody watched and listened to them while they talked.

There was a giant mount of dirt that people could sit on while they waited for their turn or after their turn had finished.

There are plenty of enjoyable activities on this trip. Some of them were, the survival game, and the group games. These were very complicated games, the most complicated was dead cocky where I was acting like a dead cockroach and quickly act like other animals. I also enjoyed the game captains coming. this is where have to do various actions and not mess up. Then there was flinch master, which was very hard to do. Each and every one of these was very fun.

In the Game Dead Cocky, the contenders had to get on their backs and twitch their arms and legs as a action. The first time around, I was not very good at this action.

In the game captains coming, the contestants had to do a specific action where they stand straight up and put there right arm up like the army solute, they did this till the controller of the game said, "At Ease".

During Outdoor Ed, one of the activities was walking around the camp grounds to see where every thing was.

Although the basic activities were fun, the Hike was still fun compared to all the others. It was wonderful to get closer to nature, Even Though it rained. The hike was beautiful and had nice smelling trees. The hike was a wonderfully way to start off day two.

In my day group, I had many of my friends or people that I liked. I also enjoyed the day group leaders. These people went with me to any place I went like, the time we went hiking.

When we were hiking, there were lots of trees to admire. My favorite one was a tree that smelled like vanilla.

During the hike, we walked on a trail so we wouldn't get lost while we learned

Outdoor Ed went wonderfully. I think I'm going to remember the zip line forever. The other activities were great as well. But the hike wasn't as nice. Overall, Outdoor Ed was epic.

There were many things around to decorate Covenant Heights. Some of them were beautiful rocks, a gazebo, and a giant playground where we could play and mess around on.

In Outdoor Ed, there was a chapel were many events took place. Two of them were putting our luggage on the porch, and learning about how the Earth was formed

My roommates were really nice to me during this field trip. We all shared a room in a cabin called the Autumn Lodge
