FC: Outdoor E.D
We were on our way to Outdoor Ed. I was thinking about who my roommates were going to be and then all of the sudden the bus stops. We grabbed our bags and we all sprinted to our cabins. “Your school sprinted like no school has this year,” said John the Manager of Outdoor Ed. I was excited about the zip line and the things I could do on it. I was also excited about the night hike. I was hoping the food would be fantastic.
The last day we were at OE, we had pizza for lunch.
This is the same day and I sat next to my friend Jenson.
They gave us a lot of pizza and a lot of different kind to eat for firsts and seconds too.
I loved Outdoor Ed. I had good roommates. We wrote down 6 people we would want to share a room with and I got 2 of those people. My roommates talked a lot. Some of my roommates woke up early but I was happy to get up anyway. The cabin was nice. The only things I didn’t like was the beds were stained and the shower was really small.
This is a game that was called Teadcalking or something like that
This is all of the teachers before the survival game started.
This is the same game, Teadcalking but just at a different part of the game.
I loved the food that we had at Outdoor Ed. It was great and somewhat healthy unlike the schools rubber food. There was a soda machine, but instead of soda there was powerade, lemonade, water, and tea. They let us have seconds for every meal. It was also fun to eat because we got to sit with whoever we wanted to. My favorite things we ate was the chicken pot pie, the meatball sub and the pizza. My favorite thing to drink was the powerade and the lemonade. We also got hot cocoa.
This is a game called Gaga Ball.
This is after it rained and a beautiful rainbow in the background
We are just starting a new game in Gaga ball.
The games were really fun. We played games that were hard at times in the field. Some of the games took a lot of teamwork or it probably didn’t go the way we wanted it to go. I sometimes forgot that I was exercising and having fun too. Then we would have to be brave for some of the games, but not for all of them. Normally for recess I played Gaga Ball but, sometimes I would play basketball even though there were some ball hogs. Both of those things were really fun to play.
This game was really hard to complete correctly, but we got her done.
This is my group taking a picture after we did the zipline.
Here kids are running from a teacher that has a watergun.
Freedom is a requirement for kids. We had a lot of space to do things. During free time I did the rock wall, volleyball and horseshoes. I wanted to do the mini-golf but I ran out of time. I was disappointed to leave. I’m glad I have a lot of pictures to remember my trip. If Outdoor Ed is still around when I have kids, then I will make sure they go.
