FC: Outdoor Ed

“Woo!” That's the sound of your friends getting off the bus! Everyone playing at the playground is only one of my many memories. When we arrived at Outdoor Ed, I couldn't wait to see things. I wondered who my roommates would be? Would I like the food? What are the classes going to be? I thought my roommates were great. We talked a lot. They were also some of my friends. Things that I found fun were: the dinner and the hike. Dinner was fun because we laughed a lot and had fun. The hike was fun because I got to see nature. My spectacular day group, the long hike, and the amazing survival game, made my trip to Outdoor Ed worthwhile.

My day group was amazing and worked together.

 This is where we slept.

The pizza at Outdoor Ed was delicious.

“Ha ha ha,” that's the sound of my day group laughing and having fun, while we were at the zip line. The group was having a boatload of fun because we were taking pictures and riding the zip line. During map and compass, we navigated through the woods. During the low ropes class, it was all about working together. Our group had to work as a team to get across a fake lava pit.

The river on the start of our hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, had dark blue water.

When I saw the hawk it was amazing.

This me on the zip line, I had a great time there.

While we were on the hike, our whole group saw a wonderful hawk. When I saw the scenery, I was astonished. The day group also had a tree test. We all had to smell a tree. The tree I smelled, smelled like butterscotch candy. All of our group, hiked on a mountain. This hike was amazing.

This is the river at the beginning of our hike.

This is a huge rock that II saw

Up at Outdoor Ed during the hike the scenery was amazing.

Fireside Fun | During the survival game, many things were going on. The teachers had water guns and would try to shoot the kids. If you got shot, you would have to give up your life card. Whichever teacher had the most cards won. I was also running a lot. The teams for the survival game, were the same as our day group. While I was playing, I helped my team strategize in order to win. The survival game was a great ending to the trip.

These were the life cards that we had for the survival game. They were the key to keeping us alive.

The teachers were holding water guns and hunting us.

Nick and me were helping each other during the survival game.

The hike in Rocky Mountain National Park was the best I have ever gone on. The survival game wouldn't be fun if the teachers weren't hunting us. While at Outdoor Ed, I didn't want to come home because I had an amazing experience.

This is me on the bus going to Rocky Mountain National Park for our big hike.

In the place that we ate their was a huge deer.

At Hawk Quest they showed us a Snowy Owl, I think that this is a wonderful bird.
