FC: The Amazing Outdoor Ed.
It was a beautiful day, we were five minutes away from Outdoor Ed, I was shaking with excitement. Screech, the bus came to a stop, we were finally there.”Woohoo!” everyone yelled, “We’re here”. I was nervous, but excited at the same time. I was wondering if I would get homesick. Would I get scared and chicken out on the zip line? Will it be as great as I hoped? Thankfully, Outdoor Ed. was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I didn’t get homesick at all. The awesome zip line didn’t even worry me. Covenant Heights met all my expectations. The Survival game, Low Ropes, and Map and Compass made this trip something I will never forget.
The teachers didn't do so good in the Survival Game this year, which means the kids won!
Low Ropes taught me a lot about teamwork.
Map and Compass class was so much fun because I learned how to use a compass.
I love the movie The Hunger Games and when we played The Survival Game it reminded me so much of the movie. It was fun to run from the teachers although sometimes I didn’t run because I liked to get wet. My friend Cassidy broke her foot, so she was the one who gave the life cards away. She either made people dance or do push ups for it. In the game I stuck with my friends and we had so much fun. In this game we worked as a team, just like we did in Low Ropes.
My friend Cassidy broke her foot so she gave out life cards because she couldn't play.
Cassidy made people do push ups in order to get a life card.
All of these people had gotten squirt with a squirt gun!
“ | Another entertaining activity we did at Outdoor Ed was Low Ropes. Some of my friends told me it wasn’t that great, but they were wrong. This awesome activity taught me so much about teamwork. In the game we played there was burning hot lava which I accidentally stepped in. My amazing friends nicely offered to help me because I had to close my eyes for the rest of the activity. This class was one of the best and I will never forget how much I learned.
In this activity we had to figure out how to get out of the circle without letting go of each others hands.
We had to think of many strategies to be successful in this game.
Everybody had to help each other out in Low Ropes class.
I really liked just walking around the woods at Outdoor Ed., and in the Map and Compass class I got to do that. I have to admit that I got a little of task because I started skipping and singing, but my best friend who I got to hang out with in this activity calmed me down. This class wasn’t just about running around, it taught me how to use a compass which was cool. This class was very interactive. It is another awesome memory that I have at Covenant Heights.
My best friend Trinity and I were having so much fun together in this class.
“ | Gracie and Sam helped me and my partner figure out what we were doing wrong.
My friends Lauren and Hannah were the ones who one the whole game.
“A day without laughter is a day wasted.” said Charlie Chaplin. I laughed a lot at Outdoor Ed, especially when we played the Survival Game. I will never forget how much I learned during the class Low Ropes and Map and Compass. Outdoor Ed is an experience that will last forever.
I really liked this game we played called The Flinch Master, it was really hard.
The food at Outdoor Ed. was amazing!
Outdoor Ed. was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
