2: Yorkey's Knob | Day or Night? | Day 1: Brisbane to Byron Bay | Brisbane

3: 4 Movies, 3 Meals, and 4 hours of sleep later and we've landed! We even had our own bus from Brisbane to Byron Bay. I can't believe we packed so much! Ahh, Byron Bay.... so cool, so trendy? | Byron Bay | Back packer central | Byron Lighthouse | How to surf?

4: Lennox Head - Surfers Paradise | Byron Lighthouse | Patty's new Aussie Friend | What! | ?!?! | It was cold and rainy in Byron Bay and Lennox Head. The sun and wind had gone north for the winter... So we followed it!

5: It was cold and rainy in Byron Bay and Lennox Head. The wind and good weather had gone north for the winter. So we followed it! | After 2 weeks of frantic searching and nearly giving up. We had finally found the perfect spot to live, trade, and kite, our Oz home! We were tree swinging happy and very thankful for what we had found.

6: We soon met Bert. He taught us to cook, catch muddies, and cast a fishing net. 'One Life Live It!'

9: Our new mates Peter & Danny added to the kite-surfing fun!

11: It didn't take long for Dad to enjoy the Yorkey's Knob lifestyle... and it didn't take long for us to take him on some new adventures :) | Welcome to OZ!

16: Yorkey's Knob | Red Dust Storm | 100 year dust storms could not deter us on our journey over the Trans Alpine by plane, train, and bus.

17: Abel Tasman here we come... wait, who brought the map? ahh... who cares, check out this view :) | Abel Tasman National Park

18: Day 1: We were greeted by a cool breeze and a warm sun at the Abel Tasman Natl Park. We walked by beautiful waterfalls, creeks, amazing vistas, and golden beaches. Arriving at the first 3 star accommodation 'hut'. Ready for dinner? | Red Dust Storm | Day 1 Marahau to Anchorage Bay

19: Day 2 Anchorage Bay to Bark Bay | Day 2: We hiked, and hiked some more. Taking photos while traversing freezing streams and cable bridges... always vigilant for a peak at the wild Kiwi!

20: Day 3: Bark Bay | A pod of dolphins stopped by to say: 'farewell, until next time'

21: On our way back to civilization via AquaTaxi | Yorkey's Knob

25: Lake Wanaka | With more to see and flights to catch we were on our way to the once sleepy, and still beautiful, town of Wanaka.
