2: Netherlands | Drizzle and wind greeted us in the Netherlands. No problem. After an amazing guided tour of a working windmill, we helped attach the sails and I got to release the brake and let the wind "take her away." | First night - "Getting to know you dinner. | And so it started, one magnificent cathedral after another! | Parking lot at the train station | A bike for every purpose | Big or small each place of worship was magnificant | Holland International Flower Market in Aalsmeer. Sent back 100 tulip bulbs which will always be a lasting memory of our incredible trip.
3: Clock tower | Boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam | View from the boat | Apple Kuchen | Outdoor Netherlands History museum | Flower market | Baptismal Fount | Lunch on the road to Germany | The World Cup Soccer match was being played - Orange, Orange, Everywhere!
4: The best teacher we ever had Herr Young | Sausage and Cheese plates to go with the wine tasting | Herr Young showing us the old Bacharach well | Walking to the vineyards with Herr Young | Walking through the REAL Rick Steves Back Door (according to Herr Young) | Hillside upon hillside of Reisling Grapes | GERMANY | Never a dull moment with Herr Young - even getting us through the alley between building
5: St. Jacobs Church | Holy Blood Altar by Riemenschneier | Beauty even on the path | Quiet Moment for reflection | The path back to town | Choir seats | Organ | Bell Tower | Lots of walking but no problem on which door to use | Grave Marker
6: There was so much we loved about Germany. I loved the view from our window and walking the wall with our wonderful Tripmate, Brian. Mark on the other hand loved the sauerbrauten, spatzel, and of course, a stein of dunkel beer. But more importantly the Down Bed afterwards. | Before | After | Really After

11: Italy Florence | "Look for the Red Dome" and you'll find your way | Shop or Street artists magic was happening everywhere! | Gelato couldn't get enough of it.... | Although fruit would have been healthier....
12: 100's of Steps or the Giant Elevator | Sharing the sights with some of my favorite Tripmates | I put my fingers in every fountain in Rome... I think | Vatican Shots | Italy Rome | She stands atop of Rome | Pantheon
13: Our hike to the 5 coastal towns of this scenic place -with lots of sights along the way | The Hike ends with yet another great glass of vino | Street party with Tripmates to celebrate! | Italy Cinque Terra
14: Switzerland Our Dream comes true!
15: Schilthorn Beauty at 10,000 ft.
16: We were so lucky all the flowers were inn bloom EVERYWHERE!
17: Our All Day Hike in the Alps or where we in Heaven? | The start up | And look who we found resting in the Alps - Marie Von Trap and Mother Superior... Unfortunately, they weren't singing. | Breath taking views | Lunch in the meadow among the wildflowers
18: France | Lunch with our Tripmates from Canada | Beaune | We made our way into the heart of Winecountry
19: Dinner with our dear wonderful Tripmates in a quaint old wine cellar. The ceiling was INCREDIBLE - but then so was the Beef Burgundy and Wine | Before | After
