11: Soldier's Quarters.
13: Soldiers were needed to protect against Indian rebellions and pirates. The Mission was once sacked by the French pirate, Hipolito Bouchard
15: Model of the mission. The stone white church was rebuilt in 1986 and is located a few miles down the road. The original was destroyed in an earthquake in 1816.
16: Abraham Lincoln gave the Mission back to the Church a month before he was assassinated.
