 Swaziland | Swaziland | ARRIVED AUG 2006 | Africa
I can't believe it!! I am finally going to a place I have dreamed of ever since I was a child...a place where lions roam, where I will get to hold the cutest kids in the world and a place where life is simple again. Africa, Here I Come!
We arrived in Johannesburg South Africa safe and sound!
The Care Point We stayed at a care point in tents and helped provide a daily meal for the local kids.
Teaching School | We spent several days doing crafts and teaching the local children songs and the abc's. These are the children that could not afford to go to school and therefore did not know any English. We used translators and any way we could think of to communicate with these precious children.
The Sandra Lee Center | an orphanage
The orphanage was my favorite day in Swaziland.
 I love the kids!
 Killing | Chickens
A True Montana Girl! I was one of the few girls brave enough to cut the head off a chicken.
We spent a whole day at GoGo's school. We came and taught the classes and gave Gogo a ton of supplies to help out. Gogo started this school for kids that were having to prostitute themselves to live. She taught them about Jesus and many of them quit selling themselves and are now getting a good education.
One of the most shocking fact about Swaziland is that the average lifespan of people in this country is a mere 45 years - and this is by and large attributed to the spread of HIV/ AIDS in this country. | Swaziland Africa
The Care Point Looking out over the care point was a beautiful reminder of the Majesty of God
Getting our hair braided in true Swazi style
 Memories of a lifetime
