2: I can't believe we made it to Thailand!! After a canceled flight we FINALLY met up in Bangkok to begin our month adventure together. I'm so happy we were able to do this traveling and see more of our great Earth together. Bring on the sightseeing, the animals and the BEACH!! Thailand Here We Come!

5: TEACHING THAILAND Spending a day in the First Grade classroom of Mrs. Ackford was definitely a highlight of the trip. The children were so well behaved and so adorable, we could have stayed the whole day. These young ones were as smart as can be and we were very impressed!! Thanks for letting us visit Colleen!
6: THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF THAI COOKING We spent one morning at the Siam Rice Cooking School learning how to make some of our favourite Thai recipes. We made soups, noodle dishes and even curries from our own hand crushed curry paste. Our favourite dishes include Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Mango salad (not too spicy!)

14: Population: 14,952,665 Officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia, it is a country located in the southern portion of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. The capital and largest city is Phnom Penh, the political, economic, and cultural center of Cambodia. Cambodia is also home to the temples of the Angkor, ranging in scale from nondescript piles of brick rubble scattered through rice fields to the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world's largest single religious monument. | CAMBODIA | CAMBODIA | ARRIVED 16 MAR 2012
16: ANGKOR WAT | Angkor Wat is the largest Hindu temple complex in the world. The temple was built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yasodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Angkor Wat lies 5.5 kilometres North of Siem Reap, and is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors.

23: Our trip has been amazing!! The locals were as warm and nice as expected. We've been able to visit all of the places on my list and we got to ride an elephant! Woohoo!! Now I can check that off the bucket list. I loved travelling with you so much, Mom; it is something we will remember forever!!
