The Bangkok tour also included a trip to the Grand Palace, the world's largest gold Buddah, a visit to the fruit and flower market, a ride on another tuk tuk and boat and lunch from a street vendor. Nice hot noodle soup with fish balls on a ridiculously hot day!

Krabi, Thailand Nakamanda Resort July is low season in Thailand, so it was pretty empty. It was definitely a honeymooners resort, but a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery!

Food and Drink of Thailand | Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, Seafood, Dragon Fruit, Phuket Beer and Diet Coke with a view

Thai Island Tour | Bamboo Island Very choppy waters to get to this island and then it rained for the hour we were there. | Had lunch on Phi Phi Island, wandered around the town a bit then stopped a few times for snorkeling on the way back to the mainland.

The Blue Lagoon Calm, warm and very blue water!

Elephant Riding!! | We took a trip to Nosey Parkers Elephant Camp where we had an hour long elephant ride. We had a run in with the elephant getting in a tree full of fire ants and all over Jonathan. We then got to fee him get a tour of the property.

Toboggan Ride down from the Great Wall to the street full of fancy souvenirs. Nothing quite like a visit to the Great Wall followed by a lunch at Subway!

Dinner at Mr. Lee's... China's version of KFC Chicken Leg Soup (literally)! | Kung Fu Show Not quite what we expected it to be, but interesting none the less!

Tiananmen Square Huge square with lots of security because of massacre years ago HOT and smoggy!

The tour group outside the Forbidden City

Forbidden City | Lots of temples, lots of people and lots of umbrellas!

Terra Cotta Warriors | 2 hours | 2 hours from Xian...thousands of Warriors built to protect a former Chinese Emperor in his after life. The Warriors are still in the process of being rebuilt.

The wait at the extremely crowded, dirty train station for our overnight ride from Xian to Shouzo. | 14 hours of fun on a Chinese train! The train was just as crowded, dirty and cramped as the train station.
