FC: The Great Outdoors | The Smoky Mountains, TN

1: What a beautiful view! | A View from by our cabin in Pigeon Forge

2: Justin driving | This is a long ride | Comfy | Anniversary trip 6

3: We are there! | Hotel Break | We can't wait to get there and get out of the car | We drove down to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN. for a week for our anniversary. It was a 10 hour drive.

4: Our Cabin was called Satin Sheets too with Cabin Fever Vacations

5: It was a cozy one bedroom full bath and kitchen. It had an indoor heart shaped soaker and hot tub outside

7: He looks so little in the big trees | We went hiking, it was beautiful

9: We saw a fair amount of wildlife. We saw the squirrel, ducks, birds and the groundhog and her babies

14: We went for a ride on the Gatlinburg Sky Lift | The Smoky Mountains

15: The views at the top were breathtaking

16: It was quite a steep drop. It was a nice little ride and definitely worth doing for the views.

18: We took Paprika for a walk on the vacation property. These are some of the amazing views on the property.

21: Cades Cove | Curvy roads | Very scenic | Cades Cove is a mostly one way 11 mile road Loop Road between mountains & ridges.

25: We got to see a couple bears. We did see one Momma bear and her cub too. We kept great distance & just watched

26: A working old mill to grind corn & wheat

27: This is the Laurel Falls trail. It is 1.2 miles and leads to other trails. It is mostly a paved path. We went on this one first.

28: Then we kept going on the trail on the Little Greenbrier Trail for 3.1 miles | You can keep going on the Cove Mountain Train for 4 miles, but we choose not to go to that one.

29: Once up there you can see some of the pretty views of Mt. Le Conte and pretty waterfalls | Laurel Falls

30: Trying the Beer Flight

31: We went out to dinner, had a great meal and then went to play goofy golf. Afterwards there was a pretty sunset | While we were here we also did the Rocky Top Wine Trail. It was fun.

32: We took Paprika for a walk on a walking trail. We had to watch for Bears a little more, but it was really nice.

33: We think Paprika really enjoyed her walk. It was probably a couple miles. Afterwards she was pretty tired though.

34: Back at the cabin she went back to rest. She was very busy at this vacation walking, relaxing and hanging out with us.

35: This was taken at Dolce Uva Wine Bar & Restaurant. This was on our anniversary. We went here a couple times. It was a great place to chat with locals, eat, drink and be merry. We would go back for just this place. Happy Anniversary.
