S: AFY TRIP 2011
BC: Grandchildren: The only people who can get more out of you than the IRS. - Gene Perret
FC: The trip of a lifetime with Grandma and Grandpa | 2011 | By Brandon Sibbett
 Saying goodbye to the family.
Traveling | What a beautiful view! | Restroom Break... What kind-of rest stop has a tepee??? Only the coolest one in Oklahoma I guess...
The Memorial | Monopoly Baby | Infinity water
Fence of the people that died | Statue of Jesus Weeping | Our first sight seeing adventure was the Federal Building in Oklahoma City that was bombed in 1995 by Timothy McVeigh. | It was very sad to see all the people who died and how many lives that were affected by the car bomb.
Monopoly in the hotel in Oklahoma City... (Probably after getting done playing basketball)
Money Game... Grandpa came in the hotel room and told us to pick a number between one and fifty... After we picked our numbers grandpa pulled out a bunch of money... And the number we chose is the amount of money that he gave us.
On the Road Again... Back on the road and headed for the badlands... Caution Beware of !GRUMPA always look out the windows. And NO Electronics!!!
Welcome to the BAD LANDS... DUN DUN DUN | The Badlands | Camping in the Badlands... We first pulled up and climbed out to the end of all the hills... Brady was being a dare -devil and got just a little to close to the edge. | When we got done climbing we drove to our camping site... We all took G.I. Showers (A.K.A. - very little water showers for those of you that didn't know) Then we went to bed so we could be ready to go in the morning for our next adventure.
Fun in the hotel... The hotel we stayed in had a water park. We played in the water park until we had to leave to make it to Mount Rushmore . Then the next morning did it all over again.
Mount Rushmore We went to a viewing of Mount Rushmore... After we looked at the monument we saw a trail so we decided to see what it was. We followed the trail until we came to the dead end. Turns out there is no gold in Mount Rushmore like they say in National Treasure.
T | The next day we drove and drove and drove and drove. But the driving wasn't all that bad because grandma let us get like 4 movies because they knew we were going to be driving a lot that day. But then Grumpy pants Grandpa started to get mad because we weren't looking at the scenery so we decided to look out the windows. Then when we were on a really steep slope we looked down at the bottom of the slope and saw a car so we had grandpa pull over so we could go hike down there.
Yellowstone National Park | This buffalo was the first animal that we saw in Yellowstone.
Old Faithful | This geyser has a self timer and goes off every hour... Pretty cool I think.
 Dinner in Yellowstone National Park
After dinner we went to look for a bear because that was the only animal that we hadn't seen yet... We saw the bear but it would have crossed the road right in front of us if we weren't stopped by a million buffalo in the road
After washing all of our clothes we stopped by my Grandma Sibbett's house
After watching my grandma's dog's tricks and listening to her tell stories we left to get ready for the night and slept in the motor home at the church. The next day, after going to church, we headed towards Lava hot springs where we stayed for the night.
The next day we were off to AFY
 Exciting Day!
After AFY | Saying goodbye to all our new friends was pretty sad | At the surprise our host let us drive the wagon. | After AFY, grandma and grandpa said they had a surprise for us... They took us to a place where they feed you and do skits for you
The next day we met up with Jake and Akina and we went to the Stadium of Fire.
Stadium of Fire | David Archuleta and Brad Paisley played music before the firework show... I have to admit; The Stadium of Fire's fireworks are way better than the ones in Mena Arkansas.
The next day we went to Bryce Canyon Where we stayed in Tepees. | This place is where we got in trouble by the police for throwing things off of the cliff.
 Actually Tepees are pretty comfy
 Grand Canyon
Grandpa was in a bad mood so we all gave him a hard time, but when we ate he was magically in a better mood. But that's OK, We still love you grandpa
On the way to Slide Rock we stopped at an old museum | While Grandma fixed us nachos, we decided to climb up a cliff thing to get to a cave.
 Slide Rock
 At Slide Rock
On our way to the Meteor Crater
 The Meteor Crater
At the meteor crater there was a microscope where you could see different things through it. After we were done we went inside and played little video game things that represented the meteor crash
On our way to the Big Texan
At the Big Texan | Actually Granny beat everybody in the shooting game
Our last stop of the trip was in Branson, Missouri. We went to the show Six, went to the zip-line, ate at Hard rock Cafe and rode the Skycoaster. | In Branson at the Zip-line
Shut up and Zip... | Shlit lip and zip
We played games with the family. | ... Told stories | Arriving Back Home
... and reunited with our families
A special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking us on this awesome trip. It was the funnest thing in the world.
