S: Life is Good!!

BC: This book was created by ALL of Beck's family and a few of her friends. We are all grateful to have Becky who blesses our family from the Middle..

FC: 40 years of Becky

1: Happy 40th birthday, Becky! | We

4: Your first couple of years were hard for you with ear infections most of the time. Starting your life with discomfort did not stop you from crawling, walking, running and riding at breakneck speed. A husky voice at first, learning to whisper - did not stop you from having lots to say and sing. It seemed like you might be competition for Donny and Marie with your microphone and made-up songs.

6: spring is in the air | springtime

10: I remember the day Becky was born. The Saratoga neighborhood was excited to welcome a sweet baby girl. I remember Becky at Montessori preschool polishing her own white high top shoes including the soles.. As Becky grew into elementary and jr high, she loved being outdoors and was the prettiest tomboy on the block. Becky was always driven when it came to soccer and her skateboard - kicking the soccer ball and jumping the curb on her skateboard. It has been a joy to watch Beck over the years. Happy Birthday, Beck Connie and Diane Cline

13: Becky, Becky, Becky, Becky----- 10, 20, 30, FORTY!!!!!!!! For some reason society deems this glorious day as a MILESTONE. That's a day so special that all your friends and family and even some people you don't know get together and have a party and make jokes about you getting old. Well let me enlighten you a bit as yet again I beat you to something. I actually embraced turning the big 4-0. I was at my most happy point in life thus far. Grounded and loving it. I actually dreaded turning 30 (that's when I realized I wasn't a kid anymore). Life was full of uncertainty. So many unanswered questions. But with 40 came comfort. I am learning how to really enjoy life. On a side note... I have learned that I am turning into dad. The similarities that are developing are eerie to say the least. I guess you know what this means for you. You must be turning into MOM! LOL LQ2M C.L.A.B. (cry like a baby)??? whatever suits you. anyway life is AWESOME! Enjoy It!!!! Race you to 50!!! Love, Dave Beck, Beck! What a milestone..the big 40! I hope your life continues to be just as awesome as you are. You have been special in my life - a strong courageous woman that I admire - a great example. You have always been such a sweet sister-in-law making me feel like part of the family and the best aunt to my babies. You are their Beck,Beck! May your life continue to be exactly the way you want and may God fill each of your days with blessings! I love you and wish you a very Happy Birthday Love Jess

14: Sisters

15: Becky, It's hard to imagine having gone through life without sister. The person whom I have always looked up to, asked advice of, and sought help from when my problems became too heavy a load. You have been there for me through thick and thin the past 35 years of my own life: from singing Air Supply in the basement, to building snow-forts in the garage and eating ice cream from the ding-ding man out on the curb. I'm sure that the Menudo inspired motif in your bedroom was the foundation for my Beatle obsession in later years. You were there to help move me from city to city and were always ready to unload a truck or unpack a box, or to go to a baseball game or concert with (even when I really was just tagging along), through my marriage and even the birth of my children--you have been there, by my side. You have not only been the best sister and friend to me my whole life, but also the best aunt to my children that any mother could ask for. Life with you has not always been easy, however. Oh yes, did you think I would let you forget these times even though it's your fortieth birthday? Not a chance, Beez-rinker! The times you and David pinned me down, or lopped me down staircases all rolled up in an itchy afghan, kicked me out of your slumber parties or, worse yet, charged me to wear your clothes when I was at my most awkward stage. But, I suppose these are the burdens the youngest child has to bear, right? I have always admired your spunk, your energy, your athleticism, and your independence. When you want something, you go for it with 150% percent. Thank you for being there for me, and for all of us. There are no words to tell you how much you mean to me and to this entire family. "She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink"--Barabara Alpert Always your sister, Always your friend, Jenny

17: Dear B We have come a long way, Becky! Yyou were a perfect birthday gift for me. Forty years seems line a long time but it has gone by so fast. I am sure that is the way you like it - fast and full of energy along with some risk..... The day you were born, David was bundled up early in the morning to to to PAt Ward's in his pajamas and blue corduroy coat. You were born a few hours later , 1:30 in the afternoon. Back in the day we did not know if you would be a boy or a girl. I thought you would be a boy but iI bought baby girl clothes - MU inner self knew better than my "outer "outer self". Bek, you became the middle child when Jennifer was born. From that time, you began to "lead from the middle". You took care of Jennifer when babysitters did not know what to do. Leading from the middle, you have cared about each of us and the family unit. You prevented hurt feelings around our holidays by overseeing the plans I guess that would make you the "Murnan Quarterback". One of the greatest gifts you gave us was your nine years of new life for all of us. It has never been easy but you have enriched all of our lives with your courage and perseverance. Love K

19: Becky, I'm so proud of you. From the beautiful little girl Beezer, to my wonderful loving daughter you are today. Thanks for being you. We've had 40 wonderful years. From that early cut thumb, gerbil cage cut, torn ligaments, blown out knee, and recently skydiving, you've been an independent spirited girl. Oh.... I can't forget your piloting adventures. Boy, that was scarey for dad, but you made it through with "flying" colors, and wow, we are all so proud of you. In more recent years I want to thank you for sharing hiking, back packing, camping and deer hunting adventures with me. A dad couldn't ask for a more special daughter than you Beck. I love you, Dad Becky, I want to thank you for the many delicious desserts you have brought to family dinners. I have also appreciated your eager willingness to help out with the grand kids - even changing those "bomber" diapers. You are the best aunt ever!!! Beck, you are a very special caring lady and I feel blessed to know and love you. Happy 40th, Susan

23: Dear Becky: Happy 40th Birthday! How lucky am I to be your aunt. I am so proud of you and the things you have accomplished and I love you so much. What I love about you most... is how strong you are... and beautiful... and you have a huge heart... and a lovely soul. I always treasure the time we spend together. I loved the trips to Sprngfield, and the times you would come to St. Louis and you and David and Jenny would each get to spend a week. Playing games, trips to the zoo and Grant's Farm. It seems like it wasn't that long ago, We'd be driving around in the red Pinto and "Band on the Run" would come on the radio... great times, memories I will always have. So, Becky... my beautiful neice, happy birthday and many, many more. Love you... Aunt Paula. | St. Louis
