26: What people have to say about Kristy | Dear Kristy! I can't believe you are retiring! And apparently, I don't have anything more original to say than that! I want to thank you for your friendship and for making it so much fun to work in the OIE. Thanks for the laughter and the wise advice over the years. Your current colleagues have no idea how much they'll miss you-- but I know what it's like and I'm feeling very sorry for them. But, you know the saying, "everyone returns to the OIE," right? So they won't have to miss you for long. I hope you have some great travel plans for your retirement. You are welcome ALWAYS and ANYTIME to visit us wherever we are. Love & best wishes, Amy (and Ebe and Mercy) ~~~ | Dear Kristy, I was shocked to hear you are retiring at such a young age! We have worked together since 2004 and you have been one of the best. It seems like only yesterday that you visited us here for our study abroad fair, we will miss you terribly but wish you every happiness and enjoyment in your retirement. You have been such a wonderful ambassador for Oregon State and the OUS and you will be greatly missed. Much love, Jackie Taylor ~~~ WE have really enjoyed working with Kristy and wish her all the best in her new phase of life, enjoying life without interference from any student issues! Anna Ekstrand ~~~ I enjoyed working with Kristy. In addition to working with OUS exchanges, she worked with me on AUIP short term programs. She had been the longest at OSU and so knew the history of the office. It was always fun and pleasant to work with her. I wish her well in retirement and hope that she and Mike are able to continue to travel the world. Joe Hoff
