2: Embarking on a journey: flying all the way around the world to Tel Aviv, Israel! What an experience..

3: Our first night, we stayed in Netanya, Israel situated right on the Sea. It was hard adjusting to the the 7 hour time difference. | The Mediterranean Ocean

5: Our first day took us to Caesarea Maritime where we saw the remains of King Herod's Palace.

6: The Roman Aqueducts! | Israel

7: Next we visited Megiddo. Here we could view the valley where we will one day see a huge battle! Armageddon (Rev 16)

8: Where Jesus spent most of his time healing and preaching. | The Galilean Region - Aphek Plateau

10: Nicole on Mt. Beattitudes | Amber | Matthew 5-7: This Mt. is a place that Jesus could have given the Sermon on the Mt.

11: We took a ride on a larger-scale replica of a boat that Jesus and his disciples would have traveled on. | Sea of Galilee | Enjoying a cruise on the Sea of Galilee | Jesus Boat

12: The Jordan River - Where Jesus was baptized | Pastor Jim | Pastor Jim baptized a few of us in the Jordan River

13: This was an amazing experience for all of us

14: Our travels took us to Capernaum, a city of fisherman situated on the coast of the Sea of Galilee. Here is a synagogue that Jesus taught in within the city.

16: Beth-Shean - 1 Samuel 31 This is where Saul met his demise

18: Qumran | The Dead Sea: We stayed in an Oasis-like hotel right on the Dead Sea. Swimming in the Dead Sea is something we will never forget! | Masada

19: We traveled to Qumran to view the caves of the Dead Sea Scrolls. | Qumran

20: Joshua 2:15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. | Jericho | It was very hot in Jericho, and we tried cooling off by taking a camel ride!

22: Jesus traveled to Caesarea Philippi with his disciples: Matthew 16:18 ..."Upon this rock I will build my church: and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

23: We traveled to the Northern Part of Israel and visited Tel Dan. We learned about the tribe of Dan and saw the neighboring countries of Israel

25: The trip to Israel changed our lives. We thank God for allowing us to see things that most people only read about. Israel is a truly beautiful and rich country and we are honored to have visited. | Steps that Jesus used to enter the Temple | One of the walls of Jerusalem

26: We spent some time in the Garden of Gethsemane, just a short distance from the walls of Jerusalem. It was surreal to be in the place where Jesus prayed to his Father right before he was taken to be crucified.

27: At the end of our journey, we were taken to an empty tomb. It could have been the one Jesus was laid in. We were just happy it was empty!
