FC: London Travelogue by:Khiley Shirey

1: London is very beautiful and a very interesting unique place to visit. it has inspiring museums,exquisite gardens,parks,and much much more. You can transport there many ways,they have a London airport, train, underground subways ext. You can even take a boat around the city for a tour guide.They have amazing museums about art, war, history and more. Once you get to London you will never run out of places to go and things to do. | Thinking about London

2: History Of London | London is the Capital of the 'United Kingdom.""It is among the oldest of the world great cities." The population of London was topped one million by 1800. One hundred year later it was topped 6.5 million. "from a total population of 5.6 million in 1891. London grew by 3 million to it peak magnitude at the outbreak of world war 2." In 1664-65 the "plaque a frequent since the Black Death of 1348, killed about 70,000 Londoners a previous out break in 1603 had killed at least 25,000 people."In 1666 there was a fire that lasted 3 days and only left about five-sixths of the city left. in 1667-1671 they rebuilt allot of the houses but mostly in brick. There was allot of air pollution from all the coal burning which led to the "Great Smog of 1952 which played a part in the death of 4,000 Londoners." On July 6th,2005,they selected London as the host of the 2012 Olympic Games.

8: Weather In London | In July the weather is perfect it is about 72 degrees, so you could wear shorts but also bring a sweater because it could be a little chilly. The driest month in London is March. The wettest weather is in January and February. in June the humidity ranges to about 70% but in December the Humidity ranges to about 89%. The time of year i would go to London is in January and February. I like it when the Weather is not to cold and not to hot. |

9: In London they talk just like we do (English) they say good morning, hello, goodbye. In different party of England they have different accents but still speak English.

10: Teenagers in London do the same things as we do they text,hangout,listen to music,shop. In London (england) children can work at the age of 13, but only after 7a.m. and before 7p.m. On school days they can work for about 2 hours. | Life for a Teenagers in London

11: Journal entry #1 | Dear Journal, When me and a few of my friends got to London we decided not to waist any time. Since we herd so much about the princess Diana memorial we wanted to go there so we got a cab and went to the nearest grocery store to pack a picnic. Then we headed to the memorial there were tons of people there playing in the water it looked so much fun we wanted to do the same. then we sat on the side of the it and started our picnic we had so much fun. then we went to out hotel called 196 Bishopgate it was very nice and has allot of space. Well ill write tomorrow we are going to get ready to go to the national art gallery. | |

12: Journal entry #2 | Dear Journal, The National gallery was gorgeous they had such cool unique things. Today we all decided to take the Thames river boat cruise so we can see how beautiful this city really is. The boat took us to See the House of Parliament , Greater London Country Hall ,also we saw the Old Scotland Yard which used to be a police station until 1967,and much more. When we were done we got a drink at Starbucks. Then we went back to the hotel and ordered room service. | |

13: journal entry #3 | Dear Journal, When we all woke up we all wanted to go to the Chessington theme park. So we all got ready, got a cab and started to head down there. When we got there it was so cool, the first ride we went on was called the vampire it went so high and then we just dropped it was awesome. Next we went on the Dragon Fury it spun us the whole ride through.Then we went on the Rattlesnake, then we went on the ramses revenge. It was a blast, We stayed there the whole day riding every single ride over and over again. | |

14: Dear journal, On our last day in London we decided to chill out. We went to the pool that was in the hotel and had breakfast at the restraint there. Then we went to visit the st.James Palace. it was so beautiful and so cool, i had never been to a palace before. Then we went shopping at the LK Bennett, i got a nice new pair of shoes. Then we went back to the hotel,packed up,and made our way to the airport back to Kansas. | Journal Entry #4

15: London is very beautiful as well as Kansas City. Although Kansas city doesn't have any palaces.London has Therope Park and Chessington theme park, on the other hand Kansas has worlds Of Fun and Oceans Of Fun | | | Kansas City & england London
