BC: Created By: Larissa McCoy Mitti “Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by.” Robert Frost

FC: Will Travel Lightly: A Twenty-Somethings' Journey Across Several Continents

Across Europe & Other Continents | “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” St. Augustine | Will Travel Lightly

Above: Me and my crazy gang beneath the World Clock in Berlin. Right: The Louvre in Paris--breathtaking.

The Changing of the Guard in London, England. There is no such thing as seeing it too many times. | Globe Trekking is Good Times

In Munich, Germany, Kyle and I stopped and took a break from walking. | Why not make a human pyramid beneath the World Clock in Berlin, Germany? | “Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.” Miriam Beard | Me and the World Cup Soccer Ball in Berlin, Germany 2006. | Prague is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever visited.

Me and Melissa (my BFF) have literally traveled the world together. She is my partner in crime, and I am so thankful to call her a friend.

During our trip to the South of Spain, we had the opportunity to travel to Morocco. It was awesome! And, Clarence the Camel clearly wanted to kiss me. Good times!

“We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” Robert Louis Stevenson

England, Italy, Spain, and Ireland are just a few stops I've made during my travels abroad.

Me against the Edinburgh Castle walls. | Scotland & Ireland

Melissa and I thought it would be fun to pose in kilts during our stay in Scotland. You should have heard us practicing our war cries. We drew quite an audience.

Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and London | Tate Modern Museum

They say it's good luck in love if you touch Juliet's left breast in Verona, Italy. Clearly, I wasn't too bashful to give it a go. | Pinching the Leaning Tower | Italy will always be one of my favorite places.

Amsterdam was the first place I ever visited in Europe. Talk about Sin City! | Amsterdam. Netherlands

These pictures take place in a few different countries in Europe: The Netherlands, Switzerland, England, and France. I was fascinated by the clogs in Amsterdam, loved the view from Mount Pilatus in Lucerne, jammed out at a production of Fame in London, and made sure to impersonate every single billboard sign in Paris.

Paris, France with Michelle was a great time! | Sadly, I can't remember where this was taken, but I know it was a Sunday, and I ate lunch at the only place open...Subway!

It's funny. No matter how many countries I visit, I am always most in love with France. "Paris, Je t'aime!" | This is one of the paintings featured in The DaVinci Code. | “A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” Lao Tzu | "Paris, Je t'aime!" | The Gardens at the Palace of Versailles. It had been a rough night.

Melissa and I beneath the Eiffel Tower. | The Moulin Rouge was a good time with a lot of champagne and small ponies. | Paris, France

Sacré-Coeur, The Eiffel Tower, The Moulin Rouge | On the steps of the Sacré-Coeur

Me and the gang decided to rent a pedal boat in Lucerne, Switzerland. We had a blast. | On the way down from Mount Pilatus, we took a ferry ride through the most beautiful range of mountains. | “Like all great travelers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.” Benjamin Disraeli | This photo didn't go exactly as planned, but it's still cute. And, it reminds me of how much I miss Paris. | Off with her head! Despite having been to London on many occasions, this was my first time visiting The Tower.

These pictures take place in a myriad of countries: Spain, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and Greece. I yearn to travel through all of them again.

 The Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy was where we spent many of our nights. The gelato there was to die for. | Visiting Rome was one of the most amazing times I ever had. The ruins were absolutely breathtaking, and the history behind them even more interesting.

“Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.” Pat Conroy

My trip to Rome, Pisa, Florence, and Vatican City will never be forgotten. It was so cool to be able to stand inside of the Colosseum and visit the Duomo.

 Morocco

Morocco, which is in North Africa, was one of the most unique countries I've ever explored. When I went in 2007, I couldn't leave without getting traditional henna on my hand.

The South of Spain | The Alhambra

Riding a camel in Morocco was exciting and scary! | I loved the architecture! | Tétouan, Morocco

Somewhere in Spain. | Toasting with mint tea is a tradition in Morocco. | Madrid

Ready to Party! | Passing through the Strait of Gibraltar.

Barcelona is one of my favorite places in the world. The architecture there, created mostly by Antoni Gaudi, is gothic and gorgeous.

Like any good traveler, I know where the American consulate is in Spain. One of my students lost her passport, and we had to replace it! It caused me to miss seeing some of Madrid, but it was quite an adventure all the same. | España

 Big Ben London, England

Greece was a magical place. The Parthenon on the Acropolis--amazing! I wish we had been given more time to explore Athens.

Mary King's Close in Scotland | The men in Turkey just couldn't get enough of me!

Malahide Castle just outside of Dublin, Ireland. | Glendalough Cemetary | “Not all those who wander are lost.” J R. R. Tolkien

 Ireland and Scotland

Germany, The Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, and London

“What you’ve done becomes the judge of what you’re going to do – especially in other people’s minds. When you’re traveling, you are what you are right there and then. People don’t have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays on the road.” William Least Heat Moon

The Mediterranean cruise we took was the first I'd ever embarked upon. I've been a cruise-lover ever since.

I loved seeing my name all over Greece. | Mykonos, Greece was my favorite stop on the cruise. | dsv | “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
