FC: The Great Outdoors | Yellowstone
Day One: We were on our way to Northern Nebraska where we would stay, but when we got there it was not a beauty, as storms rumbled just north of us and missed. | We enjoyed the rest of that day swimming (and watching tv). | The Black Hills | Day Two: We enter the Black Hills. The views here were spectacular. | Our first sight here was the Crazy Horse Memorial. We ate at Laughing Waters Restraunt and it was YUMMY! | This was the Nature Gate to our fantastic trip.
Day 3: Welcome to the Badlands. | The dry rocks surrounded us as we traveled through the Badlands. Small patches of grass were on the tall bluffs and buttes. Later on we saw the layers of the rocks. Pinks, reds, purples, and other colors. It was a "Butte."
Cathedral Spires and The Needle's Eye | Day 3 continued: Needle's Highway leads into many tunnels and amazing rock formations including Cathedral Spires and The Needle's Eye. We also saw the Little Devils Tower.
George Washington | Thomas Jefferson | Theodore Roosevelt | Abraham Lincoln | Day 3 and 4: Mt. Rushmore.
Rush, rush, rush water fall, fall, fall. | These falls roared right in front of us. It was a beautiful sight.
Day 5: The Devil's Tower was huge and fearsome. Yet it was still quite a sight to see. | Plus, there were some Prairie Dogs.
Day 6: WAKE UP, ITS YELLOWSTONE! | GET READY FOR SOME FUN!
Old Faithful | Bee Hive | The Springs
Day 7: The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We see even more falls rushing ahead and of course, more geysers.

Upper Falls | Lower Falls | Bull Elk | Upper and lower falls next . We even got to stand at the break of the Upper Falls. | Brink of Upper Falls

Then after we saw the Grizzlies, we saw the Wolves. | Kootenia | Joseph(Right) and Summit(Left) | Akela
Soon, we enter the beautiful world of the Grand Tetons. We head about a third of the way through the Tetons and have lunch. Then we are off again to see the rest of the beauty. We soon enter Jackson Hole, the home of the Antler gates and funny T-Shirts. | Teewinot Mountain | Moran Ridges | Far Moran Ridges

Day 9: We leave Jackson Hole and head for Estes Park. The Rockies start to wind down a bit as we move across Wyoming but we still see their beauty coming our way. We enter Colorado and the Rockies start to show up again.Big storm clouds roll in leaving small floods in the area. We luckily miss them and they calm down as we get to our apartment hotel (as I call it). We have fun the rest of the night jumping into pillows, watching TV, and going to an awesome pizza place. We head back and wind down for the night.
Day 10: We meet up with our cousins (going on vacation) for some fishing, talking, eating, and going to Fun City for go-carts, mini-golf, and slides. | Day: 11: We head home and enter Kansas for the first time in 11 days. It was hot, but we were glad to be home. Our trip may have been over, but we still have a trail of memories to tell.
