1: Our Destination Wedding April 21, 2010 Coral Cove Resort Little Bay, Jamaica

2: October 4, 2009 | Our Engagement . . . | When Scott and I first started talking about marriage, we both knew that we want to do things non-traditionally. Neither of us wanted the big fancy church wedding and preferred a smaller more intimate wedding. The first thing we had to do was decide upon an engagement ring. I had seen a beautiful men's sapphire band and loved the way the sapphire looked. I showed it to Scott and we now knew the type of stone that we wanted. We searched everywhere for a custom sapphire ring and finally settled on a 3/4 carat princess cut sapphire in a channel band with princess cut diamonds. I received a message that my ring had been delivered to the jewelry store and knew that Scott had picked up the ring. I had no idea when we was going to pop the question. I was dying to see it and the wait was killing me. I begged and begged and begged to at least be able to see it and try it on without any luck. Scott wasn't budging! Finally I wore down his defenses and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. My ring had turned out beautiful and now the real work started. We had to decide on a location, a date, colors, attendants, guest lists and so much more.

6: Our Monogram | Now that we had a date and a location, it was time to send out Save the Dates to all of our family and friends. We wanted to make sure that anyone who wanted to come to Jamaica had plenty of time to save up some money. Shawn created the Save the Dates and together Scott and Shawn assembled them. It was a lot of work but the finished product was well worth it.

18: Blue Crabs None of us had heard of Blue Land Crabs until we met Claudia from across the street. | They live in the ground near the swamps. They come out at night and they are quick little things. We tried catching some but weren't very successful. The ones in the pictures, Claudia caught the night before!

19: Snorkeling with Biggs We went to Turtle Bay with Biggs and snorkeled. The boat wouldn't start when we left and we floated into a reef. We finally got it started. Scott's kissing a machete fish.

21: The Blue Hole | Shelley, Crystal, Steve, Rosco, Scott and Shawn borrowed bikes and biked to The Blue Hole. It's about a 35 foot drop into a natural mineral spring. Everyone jumped in except for Shelley and Shawn. The guys at The Blue Hole put on quite the show and it was there that we met Leo...Our fav Rasta Man.

36: JAMAICA ISLAND CEREMONY Today is the day of Celebration. We are here, on this Caribbean island, surrounded by incredible beauty to celebrate life, love and the beauty of relationships. But more importantly, we are here to celebrate the relationship of two people who have come here to embark on an incredible journey and set sail for a magical life together. It is such a wonderful blessing that the two of you have found each other in this world. Your hearts met and through your relationship unfolded vulnerable honesty, gentle caring, and that crazy little thing we call love, which has bonded you for life. The beauty of this marriage is that you will always continue to learn together and teach each other, to open each other to explore new ideas, to share life and bring out the very best in one another. The two of you will never lose your freedom by being married because you will become freer by being together. Your world will become larger and your options more abundant than what would be alone. What could be more beautiful? What could be more fun?

37: THE EXCHANGE OF VOWS Do you Scott, promise Shawn to be forever faithful and honest, to share with her your dreams and your fears, to cherish her for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health and to be forever close in your souls? Do you Shawn, promise Scott to be forever faithful and honest, to share with him your dreams and your fears, to cherish him for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health and to be forever close in your souls? THE EXCHANGE OF RINGS Let these rings, which you are about to exchange, serve to remind us that a circle is a symbol of the sun, the earth, and the universe. A circle has no beginning and no ending. It is a symbol of wholeness, peace and completeness. These rings are very special because they remind us that we are individuals yet we are not alone. Wear them to tell each other and the whole world that you are in love with the very special person wearing the other one.

38: THE EXCHANGE OF RINGS Scott, place this ring on Shawn's finger and while holding her hand repeat after me. I, Scott give you this ring as a symbol of how happy you make me and as a sign to all that you are the special one that I wish to share life’s journey with. May you feel surrounded by my love each time you look at your ring. Shawn place this ring on Scott's finger and while holding his hand, repeat after me. I, Shawn, give you this ring as a symbol of how happy you make me and as a sign to all that you are the special one that I wish to share life’s journey with. May you feel surrounded by my love each time you look at your ring.

39: WEDDING BLESSING Shawn and Scott live your life with passion, compassion and excitement ... play... dance... share in life’s long journey... make footprints in the sand... sail in the gentleness of the winds.. . climb mountains together... laugh together... cry together... smile often. ..make life magical and extraordinary... be happy... be silly ... rejoice in the beauty of life... and from now on and into all of your tomorrows you will be partners in love for life... remembering while sailing in the great sea of marriage to always be each other’s best friends. PRONOUNCEMENT OF MARRIAGE Having witnessed the vows you have just made to each other, surrounded by your love, the sun, the tropical sea of the Caribbean, and by the authority invested in me, upheld by the laws of the island of Jamaica, I now pronounce you co-captains in life, best friends forever, and most of all husband and wife. 76: Scott decided to use the crabbing knowledge that we got from Claudia to catch some crabs. We were walking back from Alfred's when Scott spotted the crabs coming in and decided to jump in and try to catch a few. He caught one and a local asked for it. He was pretty proud of his catch!
