22: Mary Sue's Vows to Matt Matt, I love you because of the generosity and kindness you show your family, friends, community and myself everyday. I love how your sense of humor, playfulness and curiosity brings me joy and will ensure that life will be interesting and wonderful. I love that you wear your heart on your sleeve and that I feel the most safe when I'm in your arms. With this ring... I Mary Sue Miller take you as my partner in life and in love. I promise to love you unconditionally for who you are and who you will become. I promise to make our relationship my top priority, even through hardships and stress. I promise to work with you as a team to overcome challenges we will encounter as we grow, change, and make tough decisions. I promise to be honest, trustworthy, and forever open with you about my innermost fears and desires. I promise to be faithful to you and to be your best friend for the rest of my life.
23: Matt's Vows to Mary Sue Every step, every moment in our relationship I cherish. From the beginning when love was new I got to witness that you were kind, thoughtful, creative, beautiful, and together we laughed. Since those days your qualities have been expansive and I have discovered other great qualities. For instance, when I broke my leg and you moved in to help me, I found out that you were caring and nurturing, responsible and persistent. But all jokes aside, you have been there for me in times of trouble and times of joy. There is no doubt in my mind that we belong together, to enjoy life together, to age together. I, Matthew Reese, take you to be my wife and partner in life, my friend, my confidant and my equal. Today, to insure that our love and relationship keeps growing, I vow to you, Mary Sue Miller, to stand by your side. To be your support, to love and cherish, to hold and comfort when you need me and to be your faithful companion by your side though-out all the times that we exist together, especially the ones that are not a perfect as this one.
