BC: "Collide" The dawn is breaking A light shining through You're barely waking And I'm tangled up in you Yeah I'm open, you're closed Where I follow, you'll go I worry I won't see your face Light up again Even the best fall down sometimes, Even the wrong words seem to rhyme Out of the doubt that fills my mind, I somehow find You and I collide I'm quiet you know, You make a first impression I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind Even the best fall down sometimes, Even the stars refuse to shine Out of the back you fall in time, I somehow find You and I collide Even the best fall down sometimes, Even the wrong words seem to rhyme Out of the doubt that fills your mind, You finally find You and I collide You finally find You and I collide - Howie Day

Unexpected weather. Snow starts falling Friday night... | And is still coming down the day of!
Thanks to sisters shoveling, our photographer doing bridesmaid hair, Mikaela driving like a Michigan-born maniac to do my make-up... | ...the Montero's awesome four-wheel drive, and some serious prayer- the girls made it to the church (and so did the dress)!
After some heroic shoveling, Pablo and family also made it from Maryland to the church - where Pablo then got a crash course in how to fold a wedding-worthy pocket square.
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:1-12
Ignacio Rodriguez | Michael Bruce | Brian Bakker | Evan Willett
One night in October, right after we had gotten engaged, we decided to go to a lecture that was at the Church of the Holy City at 16th and Corcoran in Dupont Circle. We had already booked another chapel for our wedding, but as soon as we walked in the big arched door, we turned to each other and said, "We should get married here!"
The guests are here, Daniel's playing - it's time...
To get to the back of the church without being seen, the bridal party had to go about twenty yards through two feet of snow - boots on, ladies!
Something old, something new ... Dad pins his grandmother's embroidered handkerchief to the dress.
"O Love That Will Not Let Me Go" O Love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee; I give thee back the life I owe, That in thine ocean depths its flow May richer, fuller be. O light that followest all my way, I yield my flickering torch to thee; My heart restores its borrowed ray, That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day May brighter, fairer be. | O Joy that seekest me through pain, I cannot close my heart to thee; I trace the rainbow through the rain, And feel the promise is not vain, That morn shall tearless be. O Cross that liftest up my head, I dare not ask to fly from thee; I lay in dust life’s glory dead, And from the ground there blossoms red Life that shall endless be. - George Matheson
You may kiss the bride... | Now, I'd like to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Pablo Rodriguez!
Mom made her amazing homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting - Abigail's favorite. It was so incredibly delicious! | Cate made our adorable, personalized cake-topper.
Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you. Ruth 1:16-17 | Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." Genesis 2:18
Clockwise from top: Vanessa Khan and Hannah, Keith and Collyn Capp, Michael Bruce, Evan and Katie Willett, Lee and Alyssa Van Duyn, Elizabeth Sheats
Super special thanks to Rebecca Withers and Angie Tobias who did the flowers, decorations, serving, and set-up and were totally undaunted by the snow!
WWhere in the world did this dog come from?
...And they lived happily ever after. The End.
The highest praise goes to the lovely Rebekah Murray who not only took our incredible pictures, but came to our rehearsal dinner, spent the night in DC so the snow wouldn't keep her away, shoveled out the car, helped with bridesmaid hair, and was just a wonderful friend. | P.S.
