46: Pate and Barry want to welcome you, their family and friends. They wish to share with you this precious moment. Today they are making public, for all to know, that the words "I love you" is a full commitment of themselves to each other. In their devotion, respect, and love for one another they wish to unite in marriage and to dedicate themselves to each other's happiness and well-being. Marriage is a commitment of the best that two people can give to each other, creating an oasis of tranquility for one another and a quiet place, apart from others, where they need not pretend, where they can be themselves; to be happy to be together; and to create new memories together. Marriage is a commitment made in the hearts of two people that takes a lifetime to fulfill. Pate, Barry: please face your beloved, joining your hands, and by doing so, joining your hearts. You have come here to this beautiful location to make a commitment to one another. A commitment of love and friendship, and a commitment to share your life together as husband and wife. | Pate, do you pledge to Barry to be her best freind, to love her with all your heart as you stand here before your family and friends, sharing the happiest day of your life? Do you want nothing more than to share your future with her, your triumphs and challenges, joys and sorrows, together, knowing you can accomplish the life you both dream of living? The vows you have written to one another are beautiful words representing even more beautiful intentions. But you will find that as you live your vows over the years, investing your time and your love and your commitment to one another, the happy times of your life will be twice as joyous, because there will be someone to share those joys with. Barry, I love you and you are my best friend. I promise to encourage and inspire you. To laugh with you in happiness To comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I will always cherish you and forever be there for you. I want to share the world together and to grow old with you. Pate, I love you. I promise to keep my mind open to a world of new possibilities we will face as husband and wife; to support you, believeing in all

47: that you are capable of; to always listen, and to try my best to understand. I promise to learn with you, grow with you, and share with you; and to always treat you with the respect and honor you deserve. In good times and bad, sickness and health, joy and sorrow, you have my solemn vow to stand at your side. My hands may shake, but they will always be there to hold yours tight. I promise to you that I love you wholly and unconditionally, and I will spend every moment of our lives proving it to you. Your wedding rings tell the world that you have found that special someone. Wedding rings are an enduring symbol that reminds you of the pledges you have made to one another. May they remind you that while you may be apart at times, you are never alone. When you look at your ring, may you always be reminded of this day and the love you share for each other. Pate, I place this ring on your finger as a symbol of my abiding love, and I choose to live my life with you. From this day forward, when you need strength, I will give you mine. When you need encouragement, I will listen and understand. When you need solace, comfort, and | the silent speech of love, I will be there.. Marriage understands and forgives the mistakes that life is unable to avoid. Yet it encourages and nurtures new life, new experiences and new ways of expressing your love for each other through the seasons of life. When two people pledge to love and care for each other in marriage they create a sprit unique to themselves, which binds them closer than any spoken or written word. You have made special promises to each other which have been symbolized by the joining of hands, taking of vows, giving and receiving of rings. It gives me great pleasure to pronounce you Husband and Wife. Pate you may now kiss your beautiful bride. Family and friends, please join me in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Pate and Barry Motter!
