15: ITALY, JUNE 2009 Mags and I worked for many evenings, bottles of wine and dinners on our Italy itinerary. After over two months, this is what we came up with! | My sweet Aunt Adela, one day before the big trip! | Nick could not believe our inefficiency. | The big day, travel & mocci!
16: Day one, Postiano! After arriving in Rome 3 hours late, we caught the train to Naples, then the local train to Sorrento. We spent our first full day in Positano, then had dinner at an awesome restaurant in Sorrento . It had an outside in the inside.!
17: DAY 2 ISCHIA Mags and I took a hydrofoil to Ischia. We stayed at the fantastic Hotel Ulisse.
19: Castelo Aragonese d'Ischia What fantastic views we had from there | After that we went to Giardini Poseiden Terme. It poured rain, But who cares when your soaking in radioactive water?

36: First we went on a boat tour around Capri, it was spectacular! Then, we rode the funiculare up to Capri, where we discovered the most spectacular scenic overlook of Marina Piccola.
38: Mount Solaro 589 M. above sea level, we took the chairlift up! | I tried for the perfect shot. | See Mags behind me? | Say, "Mama Mia!" | I am still line leader! | The church of St Miccangelo has a beautiful floor decorated with painted majolica tiles.
40: That's Castel dell Ovo in Naples, legend says that the castle's name comes from a medieval legend which tells that the Roman poet Virgil, who developed a medieval reputation as a great sorcerer as well, put a magical egg in the foundations to support them. We had real pizza while we were in Naples - it was awesome! | Napoli
41: Using our bus pass, we traveled to the town of Termini, and from there took the LONG walk down almost to the tip of the pennisula! | It was a long and hot walk, but we never made it to the bell.
43: Dinner at the Foreigner's Club | Dinner at the Foreigner's Club was delicious!
44: This is an ancient swimming area just south of Sorrento. We floated around there for a couple of hours while enjoying the company of the other tourisits.
45: One day, I took the train to Naples, then on to Pozzouli. It was awesome to see my old house and stomping grounds! | POZZOULI

48: In Cuma I met a nice guy from Belgium. We had lunch, then took the bus to Baia where there was a fantastic castle. I don't rememver ever seeing it when I lived there. | Temple of Serapis | Sibyl's Cave, Cuma

55: Sorrento was our home for almost 2 weeks. Hotel Nice was so inexpensive and the location was wonderful!
