3: Sturtevant Falls Trail is a 3.7 mile out and back trail located near Sierra Madre, California that features a 50ft waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. | A hiking we will go...
4: Eaton Canyon Falls was two hours drive from Bakersfield and then hike for 3.80 mile out and back and it's located near Pasadena, California that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. For beginners, I would recommend this trail. Even if you're out of shape, you can make it easy! The trail is not marked well but since this is a very popular trail, you can just follow the crowd. Lots of rock hopping which my daughter Joey truly enjoyed. | A hiking we will go...
6: Visit to Getty Center Nia recommended this museum in Los Angeles. We left Bakersfield around 10am and the traffic wasn't as bad as we thought. The parking fee is $15 but my gosh, the rest of the Getty Experience is free. There's a tram provided to get to the center. Even if you're not into arts or photography, this is still a great place to escape and enjoy the many talents of well-known artists. The garden is beautiful and you can see the whole Los Angeles area and what an amazing view of the city. They also provided umbrellas to make your walks a little bit more comfortable. Lunch is not free of course but the price is reasonable and they're pretty good.
8: Big Sur, California | Bixby Bridge
