"Make the World a Better Place" Ms. Karakourtis and Ms. Transue led this meeting. We welcomed our newest Daisies, reminded our current Daisies what it meant to be a Girl Scout and we completed a service project that makes the world a better place. The girls assembled and decorated rice and beans packets to send to our friends at an orphanage in Mexico..
 THE WORLD'S GREATEST MOM!
Helicopter Outing. | Helicopter Outing (Special Thanks to Dr. Frank & Melissa Zidar!) What a fun day this was for the kiddos. We learned all about the challenges and joys of being a flight nurse. We met three nurses and got to tour the helicopter. We all left feeling very thankful for people in our community that have dedicated their lives to helping others in crisis.
 Helicopter Outing.
Sweet Berry Farm Outing Our troop had a great time playing at Sweet Berry Farm. We decorated pumpkins, went on a hayride, ran through a maze and picked wild flowers.
YELLOW PETAL | Samaritan Shoebox Ms. Davis and Ms. Reilly led a great meeting in November. Our troop had so much fun filling a shoebox with toys, toiletries, and a letter for a needy girl from somewhere across the globe. We prayed blessings for our friend even though we will never meet her. We earned the yellow petal, "kind and friendly."
 YELLOW PETAL
Our annual "Mother-Daughter" tea hosted by Ms. Shelly & Cameron.
I LOVE YOU, MOM! | Red Petal | ROCK CLIMBING! Ms. Maples and Ms. Williamson organized a great meeting where our girls had a ball learning to be strong and courageous. They went rock climbing! The best part of the outing was the support they had for each other. They cheered their friends on and congratulated them when they succeeded. What an awesome life lesson!
I LOVE YOU, MOM! | Red Petal
LIGHT BLUE PETAL Ms. Nelson led us in a special meeting to earn our honest and fair petal. We role played situations where it would be easy to lie. We all were especially moved by hearing the story about Ms. Nelson's grandfather who had strong integrity and character when nobody was looking. We enjoyed international foods at our meeting to celebrate World Thinking Day....how fun that there are Girl Scouts all over the world.
We want to be honest & fair.
 HONEST & FAIR
 FOOD FROM AROUND THE WORLD
Ms. Huber lead an excellent meeting: "Respect Myself and Others." The girls earned their Purple Petal. The girls had the opportunity to express their positive traits and to point out their friends' positive traits. It was a meaningful and fun meeting!
A special thanks to Courtney and Tom Wilkinson for hosting our Brownie bridging ceremony and pool party. Each girl was honored and reminded of their beautiful traits and character. Fellow Girl Scouts, Katie Karakourtis, Alex Kahn and Lauren Ogilvie helped "pin" the new Brownies. It was a special evening!
