"Being an intern at GFP has been one of the most life-changing things I've ever been a part of. I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am to belong to this wonderful family. Working here has given me incredible life skills and friendships that will last forever." | "GFP and Mrs. Carol have helped me grow into the person that I am. The organization has given me the opportunity to be an advocate, an organizer, a teacher, a mentor, a mentee, a sister, a cousin, a daughter, and a friend. GFP is a job, an organization, but most importantly a family. There is not a better place for me to be a part of that meets all those needs and allows me to empower youth. Thank you Mrs. Carol!" | “Being a GFP intern has been one of the best experiences of my life and I owe it all to Carol. She has been like a second mother to me and always listens to me when I need advice with anything and everything. I can't wait to share many more years and memories with her and I hope that I can make her as happy as she has made me.” | Marty Durant | Geri Guy | Suefie Moghaddassi

Can't you feel the love? | Doug, Marty and Kylie help check-in attendees on the first day of outRAGEous Fest!

...contrary to popular belief. | Paychecks are merely a bonus to all of the life-changing work that we do everyday. | WE DO WORK

You may notice that there are no pictures of Doug working...none could be found. | We not only work in the office, but also in the community!

“Aside from the friendships made and the benefits to the community, my time at Greenville Family Partnership has been a valuable experience that will help me in my future endeavors.” | "My experience as an intern has been a great one. Having the opportunity to work with such a great group of people has changed me forever. I'm going to miss all of our laughs, arguments and RAGE checks! Everyone has made this one of the best summers and I have memories that will last a lifetime." | "Being an intern for GFP has really opened my eyes to things people usually ignore or don't want to see. It has greatly strengthened my morals and beliefs. | Doug Phillips | Lauren Mims | Kasey Morey

Lauren helps tell the citizens of Greenville about our fundraising efforts at Jersey Mike's on the trolley! Doug looks shocked when he finds out that he has to recruit 10 kids to come to the Youth Summit! | Dr. Marty and Kasey give a presentation on the dangers of tobacco during their time at outRAGEous Fest!

Now everyone really knows how much of the body smoking affects! | outRageous fest 2012 | "We grew together as a team this year and not only learned more about each other, but also about ourselves." | Furman University June 20-22 | "I'm proud to be a Rager, where at least I know I'm free..."

"outRAGEous Fest has always been one of my favorite parts of being an intern. We all get to truly bond with one another and it's a large part of what makes us a family. We get to make connections with teens all over the state and leave a lasting impression on their outlook of tobacco." | This year we doubled the number of kids and tripled the amount of work! | Waiting patiently backstage...

“We as interns are like one big happy family and Mrs. Carol is our mother! I love every one of my co-workers for many different reasons! They along with Mrs. Carol, and the rest of the GFP staff will always have a special place in my heart.” | "GFP is so much fun! I'm really glad to be a part of this intern group because I think of them as family! They are so great and I'm so happy that we have all become so close! I can't wait for all of our future adventures!" | "Working as an intern at GFP has helped me to get a closer look at the need in our community and gain a deeper understanding on issues facing our generation and what we as teenagers can do about them. I am forever grateful for the experience Mrs. Carol has given me." | Corin Hewins | Kylie Hinze | Taurice Bussey

Marty, Corin and Taurice prepare "The Fruit Juice Relay" for all of the participants at outRAGEous Fest! | Suefie and Kylie smile for the camera after a long day of working! Tori, Corin and Lauren anxiously wait for their food during a lunch that was a gift from Brains on FIre.

Bob Jones University July 12-13 | Youth Summit 2012

Our 5th annual Youth Summit was a great success this year, with over 60 kids participating!

“When I became a GFP intern, I wasn't aware of how many unique opportunities I would be given. Carol has pushed me past what I believed to be my limits and has helped me become a more confident and established person. I am extremely grateful for this experience and the great faith Carol has always placed in me.” | "Being an intern has impacted my life by letting me be able to experience a lot of different things. It has showed me how focused I should be in the future. Mrs. Carol has taught me to always work above and beyond and to always try in whatever I do." | “I’ve really enjoyed my time as an intern so far. I’m grateful for all the experiences I’ve gained and the relationships I’ve built. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us.” | Elizabeth Jordan | Tori Franklin | Sajion Moore

Elizabeth and fellow interns look out for all of the attendees at Frankie's Fun Park! Tori, Marty and Corin are clearly up to no good as they sneak a picture in Mrs. Carol's office! | Sajion started off as just an attendee of Rage Fest and the Youth Summit, but is now a trainer, facilitator and intern!

After all of the camps we like to take a group picture to remember the kids! | Camps are always one of the most fun and rewarding things that we do as interns! We get to make connections with kids throughout the community and be a positive light in their lives. | GO AROUND | MAKE THE WORLD | Camps

One of the best parts of camp is all of the fun warm-up exercises! Whether we're doing "Hey Burrito!", "The Good Morning Song", "Bazooka Bubble Gum", or the most fun of all "Hey Joe!" it's always a blast! Even if we're just going bananas the kids always have a great time! | We get excited just driving to camp!
