3: It was so nice of everyone to make the trip for this special event.
4: In January, Edmonton got a total snowfall of 60cm! Lotsa Shovelling!
5: Josh loves to try to stand all the time; When you hold him, he keeps his body flat as a board and never wants to bend to sit down. He has a very serious big boy face that he does. His favorite treat is his hands and has started to discover his thumb. Josh will stick his tongue out at you to mimic you. He has started to nod his head yes and shake his head no also to mimic. He loves to be around big groups of people to show off his winning gummy smile. He absolutely hates naps and will only nap for 25-30 minutes at a time. He loves to be the life of the party and does not have time for any of this napping business! | 2 months old | "I'm not tired at all Grandma... I promise"

11: Fun on Mommy and Daddy's Bed!
12: Josh 3-4 Months Sucking fingers, finding toes, Jumping and showing off in his Jolly Jumper. Big gummy smiles, Rolling over from Tummy to back, Learning how to sit up. Still fighting naps like a champ. Still sleeping through the night. Weighs approximately 13 pounds and growing faster every day. Drooling like crazy and putting everything in reach into his mouth.squealing non-stop. Hates naps Loves to meet new people and show off. Giggles like crazy when you tickle his neck. Babbles a lot to himself in his crib. Aerobics in his crib at night while he sleeps- putting feet way up in the air and slamming them back down on the bed. Playing Dress-up with mommy. | "Most of the time I'm cute but sometimes I can be a Bear." | Future Gretzky! | Ready for business

19: Best Mother's Day yet! | Mother's Day Weekend | - attended a stake "fun run" activity - Rode the train at West Ed' -went swimming as a Family -Mark made an amazing dinner!
20: Since Josh is such a light sleeper... some days we have to be extra quiet to help him stay asleep. Mark thinks it's quite funny how Quiet we need to be so he made Copper wear socks to stop his loud walking on the floors. | Good times at 5 Months | Tasting new things... | Starting Josh's RESP at the Bank. | More walks outside! | Josh loves peas, sweet potatoes and prunes the most!

35: 8 Months | My Tricks include... - Waving "Hello" and "Buh Bye" - Crawling as fast as I can to get into the house plant so I can stick handfuls of dirt in my mouth - Clapping my Hands -Climbing up and standing at couches, my crib and Mommy's legs. -I can say "Gah gah gah", "Bah bah bah" and "Dah dah dah" - I can shake my head "No" to everything Mommy says - I love to slap hands with Daddy and slap my tray when it's time to eat - I love to spin around in Mommy's arms and go way up high with Daddy. - I love to be Naked and get away when I need to be changed -I like to Pat Mommy and Daddy's back when they hold me. - I am very scared of the vacuum - I now have FOUR Teeth and I love to grind them -I can give big hugs and wet kisses - I only like Touchy-feely books... if it's not, I will slam it closed

59: Mark Wrote the UFE (uniform evaluation) in order to qualify to be a Chartered Accountant. He studied and worked super hard and we are proud of him! | Mark made sure he had "enough pens for the exam... I'm pretty sure he made it through "pen wise".

70: Josh at One Year Old | 12 months | Josh is a joy to have around. He is a very spunky and lively little boy, yet very cautious and safe at the same time. He loves to observe the world around him and is fascinated with everything. He loves to give big hugs and wet kisses (on the lips). Josh loves to play with balls and have a good game of chasing with Daddy. He has taught us the true meaning of service, love and patience over this last year and we have grown to love him more than we ever knew was possible. We thank our Heavenly Father every single day for this joy in our lives. Happy Birthday Josh.Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. We will always love you little man. 72: Accomplishments! | Walking at 13 months | Mark Passed the UFE!! | and the biggest one of the year has to be......
73: Josh dealing with his life-long (so far) Deep Fear of Shoes! | "Oh... the trials...." | shaking, trembling, sweating, crying, and he won't move a muscle. | It took many months to get over this fear. Josh had to wear his shoes everyday for about 5 minutes at a time. Each time he would do this he was too scared to move a muscle. He would lay completely still and tremble with fear. (poor boy!) With much encouragement and cheering, he eventually realized that shoes aren't so bad! | Josh LOVES his shoes now and often runs to find them so he can have them on all the time!
