S: Moments of my Life, by Justin
BC: Thank You
FC: Justin | A man in the making.
Dear Abigail, It seems like just yesterday that I picked up the phone in the kitchen and was asked if Damien and I would open our home to this amazing boy. We didn't know that day, that this tiny baby with the kissable chunky cheeks would change our lives forever. We didn't know then that we we're bringing home our son. We didn't know you, or your mothers heart that sacrificed itself so that Justin would have the life he has. We didn't know, but God knew, and I'm so thankful that He brought us together. It's hard to believe that the chunky cheeked baby just celebrated his 12th Birthday. He is becoming such a fine young man and I am so proud of him. He is a young man of character and kindness. He is an avid reader and is so very smart. He is quiet and serious but also has the goofiest laugh, and loves to make his brother and sister crack-up. He likes sports and has played baseball and football and will be signing up for basketball soon. He also got a certificate for snowboarding lessons for his birthday and I'm sure that once up on the mountaintop, he will tackle any challenges head-on and work hard to learn that skill, as well. He really is a remarkable young man, and, as you will see by the pictures, quite a handsome one as well. I wanted to share some of the memories that we've made along the way. Our family has changed, and grown, but there is one thing that hasn't changed at all. The thing that made you able to put Justin in our care all those years ago. And I think that you will be able to see it in these pictures. LOVE. Great big gobs of LOVE. This boy is loved by so many. You were the first to love him, to kiss those chunky cheeks, and know just how amazing he is. And because of your LOVE, we are blessed to get to love him too. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I hope you see yourself in them as well; in his expression, in our smiles, or in the love in our eyes... Because of you, we are a family. Thank you. | Then & Now

Love that smile! | Mom says my smile is contagious; people just can't help but smile back. As you look at these pictures, I bet you find yourself smiling too!
 J G
I was so excited when my sister Grace was born. She thinks that I'm pretty cool. Sometimes we fight, but most of the time we get along. I teach her stuff, and I love to make her laugh.
Being the big brother can be a hard job; I set an example, and shoulder more responsibility, and I have to clean up messes I didn't make. But mom says that I am really good at it. Christian wants to be just like me, and most of the time, that's pretty great. Mom says that she couldn't ask for a better role model.
 It's all about
I love my family. I have Grandparents, lot's of Aunts and Uncles, and 5 Cousins When our family gets together there is always laughter and fun, and with 5 boys, lots of wrestling. My Grandma makes me handmade quilts and my Grandpa drives a race car. We take vacations together and our big family dinners are always lots of fun.
"Mom" -A woman who walks around with her heart on the outside of her body
Nothing will shape a boy's life more than his
Dad and I are the best of buddies. We share a love of Elvis, Baseball, and Sushi. Dad always makes time for me, and I know that I can talk to him, man to man, about anything. He's very smart. If I turn out to be a man like my Dad, mom says I will be a very good man, indeed.
We love vacations! It is always so much fun to explore new places and experience new things. I went to Disneyland when I was 2 and 4. When I was 7 we went to Maui and I learned to snorkel. We went back to Hawaii with my aunt, uncle and cousins in Jan of 2010 and I learned to surf. Although that was fun, I think my favorite vacation was the 10 days we spent in Orlando, Florida. We went to three of the four Disney theme parks and both Universal Studios Parks. I also got to see the launch of the space shuttle Atlantis. I am looking forward to going back this fall. Here are some of our favorite pictures from our vacation adventures. | Vacation Memories | Surfing in Hawaii | Disneyworld, FL
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breaths away. | Justin was chosen to be part of the animal show at Universal Studios. | Hanging at the pool! | Watching History. Space Shuttle Atlantis- The final launch. | Disneyland, 2002
It's the little moments that make life big. | DisneyWorld Orlando Fl, 2010
FAMILY | We liked Orlando so much when we went in 2011, we had to come back in 2012! This time we stayed a full two weeks. I was tall enough to ride all of the roller coasters and went on the scary ones a lot. | I love the Harry Potter book seiries, and it was fun to visit Hogwarts at Universal Studios. They do a great job of making the books come alive!
FAMILY | School Pictures | It's hard to believe that I'm almost a teenager. I started the 7th grade in September, and mom says that it seems like only yesterday I was a Kindergartner, and walking through school doors for the very first time. I think i've changed a bit sence then...
I have always loved school and all of my teachers have said that I am a pleasure to have in class. Last year when I started Middle School it was a bit of an adjustment. I was off to a rocky start but worked hard and turned it around and brought home all A's and B's on my report card. If I get all A's I get to pick a reward at the end of the year. I'm working towards an iPhone. On the first day of school every year, mom makes me a plate of warm cookies and a glass of cold milk and we sit and talk about the day. She says when I go to college, she'll have to mail me cookies. | Kindergarten | First Grade | Second Grade
Fourth Grade | Fifth Grade | First Day of Middle School!
Laura is growing up so fast. crawling around getting into anything and everything. Before you know it she'll be walking. | I love to try new things. In Arizona, my favorite place to be was in our pool. I am a natural swimmer and I love the water. When we moved, i had to do things on dry land. My dad got me a motorcycle for Christmas. I love to ride it around the yard. I also like all kinds of sports. I've played baseball and football and I am a yellow belt in TaeKwonDo.
2012 Hornet Football | J. Weston #25 Running Back Full Back
Making Music | I started playing the violin in first grade. So far I have played the violin for three years, the Cello for two and this year I switched instruments again and am playing the Viola. I got a keyboard for Christmas and my cousin says he will give me lessons. He plays the piano and guitar. I love listening to all kinds of music, but I really love country and hip hop.
All About Me! | Favorite Food: Pizza | Favorite Books: The Harry Potter Series | Favorite Movies: Lord of the Rings | Favorite Color: Red | Thing I like most about myself: I'm good at playing viola | Something I'm working on: not bugging my brother and sister. | Favorite Subject in School: P.E....... and science... and music. | Favorite Thing to do on a day off: Football | If I had a million dollars: I would buy a mansion with a secret skate park.
 Bride getting ready photos
Things I'm thankful for.... My family, my house, my motorcycle, my dogs and my cats. Snow because I can snowboard and heat because I love hot days. My dad and my Mom and playing video games, and my friends.
Christmas is a very special time and I haven't had a Christmas yet where we have been away from our family. When we lived in AZ, my grandparents, aunts and uncle came to us. When we're here, we spend Christmas Eve with Dad's family and Christmas morning with Mom's. | 2005
Every year we take a family picture. (So Mom can be in front of the camera, not behind it!) Last year Grandma made Dad a Santa suit. We told the little kids about how dad is Santa's special helper. It was the best Christmas ever! (But we seem to say that every year!) | 2011 | 2010 | 2009
 Let it SNOW!
Abigail, as we sit and add pictures to the book that we created last year, (Thank you Lord, that Mixbook saved it!) we are filled once again with gratitude for the gift of family that you gave us. It's hard to believe Justin is almost a teenager, at least until you look at these pictures. We see the man he will one day become and we are so proud of him. He is kind, and smart, and happy to the core. He can't be serious for long. After looking tough just long enough for a picture, he bursts into contagious laughter. He is a joy, and a blessing, and I hope that you can see that in these pages. May God Bless and Keep you, and make His face to shine upon you. Gratefully, Jennifer and Damien.
