S: Seasons of Change

FC: of change | By: Kori Burgess | Who Am I?

A Year in Review | My Personality Shape I am a triangle due to the fact I always want to be a leader. I have an ability to focus on important tasks, and I am extremely sarcastic at times. I am very intolerant of others' mistakes, and I always like to have my own way. My Secondary Shape My secondary shape would have to be a circle because I always want to be comfortable, whether it's my environment or clothes.

fling | My Strengths I can always get someone's attention, and can usually keep it for awhile. I am a good public speaker and enjoy being in front of crowds. I can also sing well according to others, and I enjoy it hundreds of times more than people would think. The shape I want to be more of is a Squiggle because they are very creative and spontaneous and always have high energy.

The more you laugh the longer you live | Squiggle: Square: Zach Preston Patrick Jeimy Olivia Taylor Angley Hayley Megan Triangle: Circle: Gloria Christina Josh Claude Ashley Joe- 2 Joe Olivia- 2 | High energy. Optimistic. Emotional. Innovative | Leaders. Good in crisis. Confident. Gets to the point. | Loyal. OrganizeHonest. Logical. Doesn't like spending money | Enjoys comfort. Talkative willing to change

Spring is Here | I Am... I am curious and responsible I wonder about my future I hear my grandma's voice I see many doors to choose from I want to make my parents proud I am curious and responsible I pretend I'm unstoppable I feel the world turning against me I touch the sky I worry about my parents and sister i cry for them every night I am curious and responsible I understand their struggles I say I can handle the pressure and pain I dream everything will be okay again I try to take care of everybody I hope someday my life will go back to normal I am curious and responsible

My Favorite Place My favorite place was originally a swimming pool, but as I thought about it, I realized it was actually my room. It's white with vine and flower stickers coming down the wall. I have a bed I sink into and my room is always quiet and peaceful. It always makes me feel better when I lock myself in there and listen to my music.

is in the air... | Reading Interest Survey I enjoy reading a lot, but only entertaining books, not so mkuch educational. enjoy reading some history and some mystery, as well as adventure, fantasy, and my favorite: romance. I prefer fiction novels over nonfiction and short stories. I prefer books over magazines but still enjoy some magazines. I am currently reading Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. My favorite authors are Allison Noel and Sarah Dessen. We have tons of books at home, probably over 300, and have given away many to people who wanted to read them. I occasionally share titles with people, but no one in particular. I don't go to the library often because we usually borrow books or buy them. I would prefer to watch the books I read acted out on tv instead of one or the other. I like to read the book before the movie to compare them. I usually don't pick favorites on movies or tv shows, but I mostly like romantic movies. I don't have any favorite movie and tv stars either. When I am not in school, I enjoy to swim and sing.

My 3 Technology Favorites My cell phone is definitely #1. My life is on my phone. Contacts, planner, everything. I couldn't live without my tv. I have to know whats going on in the world, so that makes it my #2. My laptop is #3. I can take it anywhere and look up information or take notes, as well as stay connected to family in other states.

Happy, upbeat person who listens and gives good advice. Won't give up. | I see myself as a person who will give good advice, will listen to anyone patiently. I try to stay happy but do have a temper when people push me far enough or when I'm under too much stress. | People see me as a mostly happy upbeat person who can be really crazy and random at times. Some people say I'm determined and won't give up on anything or anyone. | Self Image

My Relic My mom gave me an Angel Necklace when my grandma passed away, engraved on the back saying "I will always be by your side." It meant so much to me. She said that I would always have her with me, even if something happened to her we couldn't control. I also have a box full of coins that my grandma gave to me. I know it is not much, but it was her jewelry box full of old coins and golden dollars and that means the most to me. Those are the only relics I have. I could at some point get rid of everything else, but that would be the absolute last thing I would ever get rid of. It means too much to me.

My short term goal: Swim a 50 Free in 25 seconds My long term goal: Graduate from an Ivy League School in Sciences or Medical Fields. My goals haven't changed at all. I still want to be able to attend an Ivy League school. Even if it seems impossible, it makes me push so much harder which causes me to be more successful, and hopefully will still put me in an amazing school.

Lasting Memories... | Personal Metaphor When I am at my best as a swimmer, I am a shooting star, gliding seamlessly and effortlessly through the sky.

"An open home, an open heart, here grows a bountiful harvest." - Judy Hand | Self Portrait https://docs.google.com/a/students.cccti.edu/present/edit?id=0AdJkCQSg9cz9ZHBkZjIyd18zOGhtemhwd2Y0&hl=en_US

Family History I found out I was part French, Australian, German, Seminole, and English. My dad is full blood French, so I'm dominantly French.

My Family Tradition Every Christmas Eve, we go to the Christmas Eve service at church then go home to open one present. The next morning I cook breakfast for everyone if I am up early enough, then we open our presents before we go to my cousins' house to eat. The next day everybody comes to our house to celebrate our birthday.
