4: You are a second to me. You are the kind of people who play around and laugh at nothing. You are my friends who supported one another no matter what the situation. You are the people who believe in everything with a full heart. You are the people who made my senior year so special. You are unforgeable.

5: Yearbook Reflection | At the beginning of the year I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect from yearbook. I knew that it was crazy and funny, I knew that I was going to have nonstop laughter, but all I really wanted to was to take pictures and get them in the book. For the staff next year, I think that a goal should be to cover different angles on sports and concerts. Make sure that no matter what goes into the book, all of the coverage measures up to the standard that we set this year. We know how good our book is this year; make sure that next year is as good, if not better. My strengths as a photographer probably center around my clear and crisp photos. I was able to take a photo and edit it into whatever my designer wanted. I also had extensive knowledge of Photoshop and was eager to teach the younger photographers what I knew. Lastly, my organization skills in photography greatly helped me to succeed this year. In the book, I have over 5 major photo illustrations and so many photos in both the book and supplement. My weaknesses this year were being able to teach as much in Photoshop as I wanted to. I really wanted to be able to work with the underclassmen more so that when they took over my position, they were well prepared and experienced in how to work on the computer. In addition, I feel that I could have spent more time at other events that I was not assigned to, so that more of my photos could have been featured in the book. I think that this year I was really able to work on my photography skills. Personally, I feel that I grew so much in the angles that I tried for photos, and learning more about my camera so that my pictures were clearer and of better quality. I am really very proud of all of my photos in the book, I worked so hard to make sure that my photos were both printable and excellent in all forms. My proudest moment in yearbook was the day the books came and I got mine. I was so excited to see my photos on the page and watch thousands of people gush over the work that our staff did this year. We honestly worked so hard this year and I’m proud of everyday that we spent working on the yearbook. Next year, the advice that I would have for the staff and advisors would be to keep the promises and rules you make at the beginning of the year. Try to work together as one unit and keep any drama outside the publications lab. Yearbook isn’t about any one individual, but a group of people who work together to keep the spirit of the school and write down every event for freedom history. I plan to try and create my own photography business one day; I want to be able to continue in photography in a fun and family oriented way.
