The Beulah Power Plant would be built in years to come on the east end of Main Street, where a coal mine was located. The flag flying is over Beulah Post Office. The picture below was blown up from a small snapshot found in material given to Lawrence J. Joos from Mrs. Oscar Johnson. She taught rural school for many years.
