BC: 2010 2011 Doug started a new position at Micron as Tool Owner in July. He is now working M-F day shift only, and is off on holidays. It has been a wonderful transition, and we are all looking forward to him having Thanksgiving and Christmas off this year for the first time since he started at Micron. I am no longer substituting, but life is still busy. I have been enjoying looking at all my pretty Mason jars filled with peaches, green beans, pears, applesauce, and hot sauce that I canned this summer. Doug and I also spent an amazing time in Playa del Carmen, Mexico celebrating our 10th anniversary in May. Ethan turns 8 this month and is in 2nd grade. He is really into reading this year, and occasionally gets in trouble for trying to read under his desk at school. His teacher describes him as super smart with a tendency to be absent-minded. Yep! That's him! I feel so blessed that he has another fabulous teacher this year. She would like to see him start the challenge program at his school in January. After much bribing, Ethan also now rides without training wheels and is playing his first sport-basketball! Scarlett is 4 and will start Kindergarten next year. She loves preschool and tends to get bored at home with me. "Where are we going now?" "What are we doing next?" She is also looking forward to playing any sport she can get her hands on. Merry Christmas!
