BI: Happy Holidays! | SENDING MUCH LOVE, | clint, manna & SWEET baby awesome face, sparkle fox: PHOENIX NYANZA REEVE-REYNOLDS
FI: THE YEAR IN A NUTSHELL: Last January sent us off to India. Manna searching out the Yoga teacher training and Ayurvedic schooling she had been dreaming of for years. Clint received many a bug bite and clocked some mad hours strumming guitar at beach campfires, both making some great friends. After spending the entire second trimester of pregnancy in India, we happily returned home in April. May brought us on tour to California, 8 months huge, but still selling moccasins! (ok, Clint did all the hard work, but IManna did her share of sweating, for sure!) CLinnt finished up the work tour while Manna grew into a happily beached whale. June brings us to the highlight of th year, to put it mildly.Phoenix was born on June 26tha 1:42am. We had a home water birth with a midwife. Phoenix is the light of our lives, the spring in our steps, the spice in our salsa! As for July & August, We are having a hard time recalling them. They were a happy, hazy blur, and smelled of milk. It was like learning to steer a magnificent ship in the middle of the night with no sleep for weeks, and the captain doesn't speak a lick of English (or any other language for that matter.) But believe me-she let's you know if you're not doing something right! Actually, Phoene is quite a happy little thing. Clint got the first real smile in August, and now she giggles loads. Especially in her bouncing swing! Then, in September, we bought a booth for Tread Light at the Renaissance Festival in Minnesota and spent 8 weeks there. Halloween found us back in Colorado, where we plan to spend a quiet winter watching our baby grow and giggle. Clint has built us a sweet space in his family home, and is finishing up the kitchen as we speak. May the wind be ever at your back, May the road rise to meet you, and as your slide down the banister of life, may there be no splinters!
