FC: A Rose from Homer's Grave

A Rose from Homer's Grave By: Taylor Williams

In Smyma, Asia there are songs of the rose that loved the nightingale, Homer.

As the turtle dove flew around a rose bush there grew the most beautiful rose.

As the rose bowed her head over some stones she said, "Here rests the greatest singer in the world."

So then the bird sung his last song.

That evening the rose dreamed that someone came and plucked it and put it in a book. And as the person carried it away the rose faded.

Then the rose awoke and on in the day strangers came and plucked it off of Homer's grave just like the dream.

 The End
