FC: Troy & | Ammon
1: Troy grew up on a farm. Ammon grew up in a city four hours away. So we come from two different worlds. But we both have three siblings and want to give that benefit to our children. We met at the University of Illinois and were married after we'd both graduated. We lived in Indiana for a couple of years and got to move back to Illinois in 2013. Being closer to family has been great. Our twin boys were born in August of 2014! Parenting twins isn't easy, but we make it fun! We have an incredible bond with their birth mother. She is family! She lives hours away so we don't get together often, but we text and call frequently to keep up on each other's lives. God has blessed us with more together time than many other families. Troy has a great job as a district sales manager. This gives him a flexible schedule. He also works from home often. And we're fortunate that Ammon gets to stay home with the kids. Previously she worked as a nurse which improved her natural gift as a nurturer. She keeps her RN license so that she can return when the time is right. Our time is one of the most important things we give our children. We have money and resources to provide for their physical needs and more. But the time we spend together will be much more influential. We look forward to picking our kids up from school and talking about our day around the supper table. The time we spend with our children will help them to grow into confident adults. We know you are thinking about your child's future. We hope you can see that we are too. Of course the pictures in this book are some of our best. They are the highlights of our life. We hope that they show you we value our faith and family. We hope you can see our unique personalities which make us caring parents. But we don't want to act like our life is perfect. We're ordinary people. We make mistakes. Above all, God has prepared us to be parents. And we're always trusting Him. Thank you for the opportunity to share a little bit about our life. We would love to meet you to tell you more and answer any questions you have. We can't imagine what you're going through. We admire you for your concern about your child's future. | We'd like to meet you!
