FC: The Great Depression
What was the cause for the Great Depression and for all this trouble? Stock Markets crashed and so the price of stocks fell, there was financial crises happening and not only that but many banks failed and eventually closed down. And with the stock market going down, people stopped spending money and purchasing things all together and so that lead to many business failures as well. The picture below shows how many unemployment workers there were at the time and they were litteraly fighting in anyway they can to get jobs to support there family. To feed them and take care of them.
How Long Did the Great Depression Last? The Great Depression took place from 1930-1939 (about 9 years it lasted)
What was life like during the Great Depression? Life during the Great Depression was not fun, an unbelievable number of people lost their jobs and became unemployment workers. The money they used to get for working decreased by very much, and so they couldn't afford anything. Everything got higher in price. Banks failed miserably and got shutdown. Farmers weren't able to grow there crops (due to no rain) so they had to sell there farms because they were not making any money. No crops, Means no money.
Who was affected by the Great Depression? Who? EVERYONE! It didn't matter what class they were, low class, middle class, or high class, the Great Depression was strong enough to make everyone suffer, rich and poor. It especially affected farmers. Women, men, workers, and even children
How did the Great Depression finally end? By just not doing anything. They didn't do anything about and it seamed that it went alway on itself. (YAY)
Life in the Great Depression was a very hard time.... There living conditions were very harsh as well.
