19: oh what a fabulous day! Stevens closed last weekend. Crystal open til June! Both boys off Saturday. Chris Miller joins us first time all year! One sunny, fabulous clear day! {been crazy wet, cold April]. Wonderful skiing, new mountain...great day! Until the last run, Alex breaks his board up top of a run. Slides down, rides heavy on back foot...walks the rest of the way. What a bummer. At least it was the end of the day, end of the season, and he has a great story to tell! He embarrassingly "bragged" to some onlookers at the base. At lunch, a recognized one o f the band crew...Matt Thompson's band, Superfekta, was playing outside the lodge. How fun to see him play!
