I live in a place where everybody was different, Different clothes, Different shoes, different everything. On the best day ever I found out I was moving. To a different country, a different continent. Now it was really different. But it wasn’t | Things move on

Everybody was the same. Same clothes, Same shoes, Same everything. One day when it was finally getting better I found out that I was moving back to Louisiana where I was 2 years ago. When I got there everybody was the same but the worst part is. My friends were gone.

In the story ‘things move on’ it means the things change in life but you move on with your life. the repetition of the word different makes it clear that things change in life and theres nothing you can do about it. it gives me the impression that it’s a sad life for this kid.

The sky Sky is dark and blue Getting destroyed by people Stop don’t destroy save.

In the story "The Sky" what it's saying is that sometimes the sky is blue sometimes dark and it's getting destroyed by power plants and the smoke going in the air so it saying stop putting smoke in the air and it would be a safe environment.

Feeling sad? Feeling sad is the worst The people don’t like crying Don’t make people sad.

In the story "feeling sad" it telling you if you are sad don't make other people sad. when the story says 'feeling sad is the worse' it is the worse so don't make people sad and try not to make yourself sad.

Hometown Let me sit on your porch, let me drink a beer Let me scratch that dog's ear Let me rock in your rocking chair Show me your garden I love to harden Let me walk in the fertile row I got some seeds I would like to grow And when that evening sun goes down Drive me into your hometown let me buy your friends a round Let me drink water from your well Tell a story that you'd like to tell I think you'll find that I'll listen well

When you've had all of me that you can take Say so long with a strong handshake don't ask me to stay i won't come back and when that evening sun goes down drive me into your hometown I'll catch that next truck outward-bound.

johnny | In the story "Hometown" it rhymes alot because it a ballad poem it sub post to rhyme

Peace How can peace be gained peace can be all short of things I like the word peace the world should be more peaceful bring peace to Earth well help.

In the story "peace when it says "how can peace be gained" thats are unit question so in this tanka i decided on the subject to be about peace.

All About Me Johnny Brave, risk taker, strong Brother of Katie McDonald, Son of John McDonald Love Bikes, Love pizza, Love life Like to help friends, always happy, like to be friends with everybody

Feared nine eleven, that I could move to a different place everyday, that I could die everyday Who has lived in 3 continents, who has lived 4 states To see the pyramids in cairo before the government went down, to experience china, to experience to cultures around the world. Born in Maine and living in London, England McDonald

In the story "All About Me" it's pretty clear that it's about Johnny McDonald so every word in that poem has something to do with Johnny McDonald

Happiness Happy Jolly, Pleased Playing, Singing, Juggling Smiling, happiness, fun Fading, chilling, slowing Frowning, Crying Sad

In this story "Happiness" at first it's all happy then theres a change that the happy is fading away and it's getting sader every word.
