FC: It All Began With The Birth Of Karen Marie In February, Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Four | This Is A True Story Of A Beautiful Princess And The Adventures She Experienced While Seeking The Handsome Prince She Longed For

1: Even at this young age, she often pondered what her prince would be like....

2: But she had Grandma's to visit in Hazelton and Galilee Pennsylvania....

3: Play Time at the Beach In Southport NC | All Dressed up for Church in Buffalo New York 1985

4: The potential princes started pouring on their charms early.. "Oh, I will have to check my social calendar to see if we can meet again on Saturday for tea..." said the princess to be

5: Oak Island Beach House 1988 | Ti | She practiced posing for the media as all Princesses must do

6: Kittens and Cousins at Grandmas....Climbing and Hiking Mt Rogers...

7: More Hiking with Mom and Grandma... And learning she had no patience for golf....

8: Sliding down leafy banks by Wegram Falls PA.. And building Mrs Frosty in the backyard in Southport. and hoping she would not melt away

9: Lots of Homeschooling to make her shine bright...(with Alex her cat always in her sight) | And hours of piano playing until she got those tunes just right.

10: Taming wild ponies with Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary on Mt Rogers VA.. And shopping for bargins in Southport NC

11: And always new pets to feed and family to visit at Grandmas

12: The Princess always loved every animal she met and they all loved her right back. | Feeding stray turtles, steering pet goats... Reading bed time stories about castles and moats.

13: Riding ponies in the park.. a great dog trainer knows how to make him not bark

14: Moving away from friends and memories To find new friends in new places...

15: And never forgetting the fun times and happy faces

16: Church picnics and games in the country... | Exotic birds at Busch Gardens

17: She even tried basketball to be well rounded

18: New Puppies and Spring FLowers in Blue Ridge, VA What a great place for a young princess to play..

19: Giving Mr Frosty a funny nose | And Hanging cats...oops, I mean clothes...

20: Celebrating Birthdays with cousins in PA | Having fun at Disney World and Busch Gardens for two whole days

21: Bunnies and Birthdays Can Keep a Princess Very Busy... | Salem VA, Clintwood VA, Blue Ridge VA

22: Eating Ice Cream in Italian Castles with 'Auntie Joan" | Taming big bears all on her own

23: Trips to England to see a poets grave And watch British cows as they graze | Meeting lots of neat people like her friend from Denmark As they stroll along the beach in Italy on a youthful lark

24: Yes, the Princess looked just like her dad... But he was so handsome it didn't make her mad | And she rode like the wind on the new bicycle - a gift from her dad

25: MOre kitties, beach bunnimg and new friends at Musicamp

26: Celebrating 12th and 13th Birthdays with friends was fun and she grew more beautiful with each passing one

27: She was a great Theater Star appearing on stage with famous people like Mayor Dawkins in Cape Fear Regional Theater | And surviving piano recitals with Mrs Craver her teacher and coach... And scheming with friends at church...

28: And as she grew more beautiful she began to wonder if her prince would ever look lovingly into her eyes.. As she sometimes felt lost in the woods because she dated a toad or two and even a rattlesnake in disguise And a peacock or two got their tails in a spin when try as they may, her heart they could not win

29: But she always had her body guards on duty and her friends that loved her truly | And they encouraged the Princess not to cry because they knew someday her Prince would surely come by.

30: And her good buddy Alex could always keep her secrets | But still sometimes she wondered if her prince was just a dream...

31: But Grandmas know how to encourage their Granddaughter's to be strong and soon... she promised... her prince would be along

32: And then out of left field her Prince did appear! No more wondering when or if or who. Her prince was always just right there... A very fine man she already knew!

33: May your lives always be blessed with true love! And remember... It only takes a second to say "I Love You" but it takes a lifetime to show it. | December 23, 2010, 12:40 p.m.
