FC: By Cheyenne Walden | Napoleon and French revolution.

1: Napoleon | Napoleon Bonaparte | Napoleon Bonaparte was a military leader in France. He supported the French revolution. he defeated Austria in 1794. awhile later in 1804 napoleon decided to make himself emperor, which all the French voters supported him.

2: Napoleon had many enemies one of the many was the Duke of wellington. He had defeated napoleon in the battle of Watterloo which that last defeat had ended napoleons last bid for power.

3: French revolution | The French revolution creates a weak leadership in the government. the national assembly created a new government but the old problems like food shortages and more still remained. The legislative assembly split into three groups. These groups disagreed with each other so there wasn't any strong leadership.

4: After helping to defeat Austria Napoleon takes full control of the government and gets full support from the people by taking control of most of Europe. Napoleon decided to make himself emperor with the support of the people.

5: The French revolution had lasted from 1789 to 1799.

6: On January 21,1793 the ex king, king Louis XVI was beheaded. Awhile later Queen Marie Antoinette was beheaded she was the most famous victim of the Terror.

7: The setting of the French Revolution was in France.

8: Part of the world it took place was in Europe, and also in the western hemisphere too.

9: France government were in a lot of dept. Extravagant spending by the king and Queen was one of the problem.Also Louis XVI was a weak leader he allowed matters to drift and paid little attention to details of governing.

10: king Louis XVI had borrowed heavily in order to help the American revolutionaries thereby nearly doubling the governments debt. in 1786 the bankers refused to lend the government any more money.

11: Napoleon pretended to be the constitutionally chosen leader of a free republic. So in 1800 the vote of the people was held to approve the new constitution, they were desperate for a strong leadership so the people voted in favor of the constitution which gave all the real power to napoleon.

12: Thousands died by the guillotine during the French Revolution. More than 2,100 people where executed by the guillotine most of them where from the third estate.
