1: Following the end of World War I and the freedom from the war-time economy and lifestyle, U.S. politicians focused on the social and cultural issues of the day | Politics under Warren G. Harding and Coolidge | The United States was at war with Germany, and Congress passed the Espionage Act, outlawing any attempt to foster or obstruct the draft. Charles Schenck was arrested for conspiring to print and circulate leaflets that would obstruct and hinder the enlistment service of the United States. Schenck argued that the Espionage Act violated his rights to freedom of speech and press. | Schenck vs. U.S 1919

2: Racial profiling and Nativism | Bolshevik Revolution | The Bolshevik Revolution also known as the "October Revolution" was when Lenin and his Bolshevik Part followers overthrew the weak Provisional Government and imposed a Marxist government in Russia. The October Revolution is called the Bolshevik Revolution because that is when the Bolsheviks took control of the country.

6: young women who wore short skirts, bobbed their hair, listened to jazz, and flaunted their disdain for what was then considered acceptable behavior | First iron lung was invented by phillip drinker | Flappers

8: Scopes Trial | a high school biology teacher John Scopes was accused of violating the state's Butler Act that made it unlawful to teach evolution.

9: Ernest Hemmingway | He was an Author and Journalist. He won the Noble Prize of Literature. His classics were American Literature.

10: Babe Ruth | hit a total of 60 home runs in 1927

11: Sinclair Lewis | Georgia o'keefe | she is known for paintings of flowers, rocks, shells, animal bones, and landscapes
