BC: The End
 Beth's Big Decision..
It was a sunny day in New England and Beth was excited to start her day. She jumped out of bed and ran downstairs shouting, "Today is the day, I finally get to see the piano recital!" Mrs. March smiled and said, "Don't forget to pull the weeds out of the garden before you go to the piano recital." "I won't, I'm doing that right after breakfast." replied Beth.
B | Beth ate her breakfast and ran upstairs to put her work clothes on before heading to the garden. While Beth was pulling weeds, Mrs. Marrs stopped by. "Hey, Beth, how are you today?" "I'm wonderful! How have you been?" "Well... my dad has been very sick for weeks, and a messenger came by this morning and dropped off a letter.."
"In the letter it said that my dad doesn't have long to live" "Oh gosh, that's terrible!I'm very sorry to hear that. If you need anything please let me know." Well, actually." Said Mrs. Marrs, "I was hoping you could baby-sit for me tonight." "Tonight" Thought Beth. "That means missing the piano recital"
Then, "Yes." "I can do that," replied Beth. "Thank you, Beth! I really do appreciate you doing this for me on such a short notice." "Anytime," replied Beth.
After Mrs. Marrs left, Beth went inside to tell her mom she wouldn't be attending the piano recital. "Why? Beth," Asked Mrs. March, "You've been waiting to go for months." "Mrs. Marrs came by today, Her dad is very sick and doesn't have long to live. She needs a babysitter tonight and I said I would." "That's very nice of you Beth, but what are you going to do with your ticket?" Asked Mrs. March. "I'm going to sell my ticket and provide dinner for the family tonight," replied Beth. "That's a wonderful idea! The family will appreciate what you're doing for them."
