FC: A Year in Photos: 2009 | "I know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for a man to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23
 January 2009
Dan insisted on a 90s-themed birthday party and we aim to please. | Happy Birthday Dan!
Lauren is a special friend of ours. | Four men in party hats: a memorable sight. | Jordan sings an emotional rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. | We love the 90s! | Tom being.... himself. | Pretty in a party hat!
Amanda, Jordan, William and I decided that our Reading Break would not be complete without a road trip. None of us had ever been to Rochester, so that was reason enough to go! We visited the Science Centre and the George Eastman House and took some priceless pictures. Obviously.
Although I had the displeasure of studying for exams on my birthday, I did have some loyal friends stop by to distract me for a while. | My 23rd birthday
 Wyoming Conference
Aaron and Brenda's Wedding | After meeting online, Aaron Kulbe and Brenda Bos got married in Buffalo in May. She then moved to Oregon with him.
(L-R): Karissa and I went to a Jays game for free and we had amazing seats. The Bergs came to visit in May and we got to hang out with Madelynn who has come a long way since December! Finally, summers just aren't the same without a little ultimate frisbee. | (L-R): No need to question Jordan and William's masculinity. They just like posing for the camera. I'm sure the other customers of Ikea got a kick out of it too. And then there's Melanie and Aunt Nancy enjoying a visit. | (L-R): I got into Western for Teacher's College! We celebrated with cake. Miriam and I volunteered for a Michael W. Smith concert. And Troy and Sydney...well...I don't have much of an explanation for that. Genes?
McMaster University GRADUATION | Finally I graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Four years of studies and lots of debt, but it was worth it! | Don't they look proud?
Miriam and I visited Grace in London, ON. I got to check out the city where I would move to in the fall!
 Summer lovin'
 Mini University
The kids wanted to surprise their mom for her birthday by getting pictures taken. Since they couldn't afford them to be professionally done, they had to settle for me!
 Myrtle Beach | August 2009
Uncle Henk and Aunt Karen graciously paid for Mom, Dad and I to fly to Myrtle Beach to stay with them for a week. It was great to spend time with family before I moved away and another school year began.
Earlier this year, Lauren had a vision to raise awareness about human trafficking. She shared this with us and after much planning, we pulled off a surprisingly successful fundraiser and donated the profits to the International Justice Mission. | AEFA: An Evening for Awareness
Jordan and Amanda got engaged the night before!
Living in London | My eight months in London were great. Living on my own was exciting, teacher's college was the last step of my post-secondary education journey, and I got to meet a lot of new people. | September '09 - April '10
Engagement photos for Jordan and Amanda...
Dave and Natalie decided they needed new family pictures as well. As you can see one of their four children was not really in the mood, but we managed to get a few good ones anyway!
 Mike and Bethany's Wedding | November 28 2009
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
